Facelift

Virtually all lifting techniques involve lifting and/or tightening the superficial musculo-aponeurotic system of the face. Mastery of this technique is necessary for achieving long-lasting and natural-appearing results. Incisions are carefully designed around and behind the ear, with careful attention to avoid hairline irregularities. Incisions are often hidden within the natural contours of the face. Our surgeons dedicate special attention in closing incisions to optimize healing and minimize potentially visible scarring.

Rhinoplasty

Rhinoplasty is an outpatient procedure typically performed under sedation in an operating room. It is not typical to have nasal packs in the nose after routine rhinoplasty surgeries, but there is usually a cast in place for a week, and sutures at the base of the nose that are also removed at one week. Most patients are surprised to find no severe pain after the procedure. Once the cast is removed mild postoperative swelling may persist for months afterwards, and it is typical for a rhinoplasty to take a year or more to fully heal. Bruising can last for a few weeks, especially if the nasal bones are intentionally broken during the surgery, a maneuver commonly performed to reduce the size of the nasal bridge. Rhinoplasty can be performed with other facial procedures, including blepharoplasty, brow lift and facelift.
