I'm a middle aged girl who is still in pretty good shape, however, 7 years ago I had a problem with several large fibroids which caused damage to by lower abdomen walls/muscle. Flat as a board above the belly button. Actual definition. The below looks distorted, it even sticks out more on the right side. Breast not too bad, but they are now uneven as well. Dr. Castellano and Pam were very good at evaluating my concerns. At first, I was just thinking of the Avelar Abdominoplasty and taking the fat from that area and placing it in my breast for added fullness. Dr. Castellano had a vision of a different approach that would provide better results. Since I will be under anesthesia, why not take care of the problem fully.
I never really considered breast implants, because breast size wasn't the problem. Upon review of measurements and the shape of my breast, my daughter weighed almost 10 pounds. Fortunately, I only gained 30 pounds and no stretch marks. 23 years later and I have found I am disappointed in the way they look when not wearing a support bar or proper fitting bikini top. I went home and discussed the options with my S.O. and close family members and decided the full Breast Mastopexy with the smaller Inspira Cohesive Gel is the way to go.
I feel confident in the consultation and truly believe Dr. Castellano is going to help me look the best I can. Sometimes it is important to look at Cosmetic Surgery in a practical and above all, realistic way. Dr. Castellano and Pam knew I would not be happy with just transferring the fat. That would give some fullness, but the uneven, odd shape would still be present! If you are going to be under anesthesia it's best to take care of things the right way, the first time! Hopeful to have all the preliminary ducks in a row and surgery done by the end of November 2017.
Great and informative. Breast implants have changed a lot. Don't let the Hollywood over the top unrealistic and unhealthy approach, taint what your experience could be. It's not always about just getting big boobs or being perceived as that. We all have our good, and not so swiftly ola, body parts. The physical demands of being a mom can rob us, no matter how good you are in regards to diet and exercise. For me, it's about looking and feeling the best I can. Procedures that will compliment what I have, not make me look like something I'm not or have no interest in becoming.
