Abdominoplasty
A tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) can be performed for men or women who have loose, hanging skin on the front of the abdomen. This condition usually occurs either after someone has lost a significant amount of weight or, in women, after experiencing pregnancy. The procedure removes the excess, unwanted skin and abdominal fat to restore a flat contour to the tummy. When indicated, this surgery can also repair or narrow the gap between the abdominal muscles, which can develop from pregnancy. The belly button is moved to a new, natural appearing location and the resulting abdominal scar can be low enough to be hidden well. A tummy tuck alone and sometimes in combination with liposuction can help to achieve that hour-glass, bikini-ready figure that you have been waiting for!
