I cannot fault the overall experience I had recently. Professor Mahajan was very easy to talk to and really down to earth. I found him reassuring and certainly felt that I was going to get the very best treatment, which I did.
The pre op side of things was thorough and the staff at Spire are all extremely caring and diligent to their roles. The operation went really well and now that everything has healed, without any complications, I am really really happy.
I cannot recommend Ajay highly enough. I consider him to be an highly skilled and experienced practitioner and I am pleased I chose him to carry out my procedure.

I had a breast uplift surgery (mastopexy) with Professor Mahajan. I am 24 years old and after losing 6 stone I felt my breast were sagging and loose. After doing research about whether to opt for implants/uplift I decided a consultation would be best.

Professor Mahajan discussed all options with me in detail taking into account my desires, anatomy and goals. I was happy with the size of my breasts in a bra and so opted for an uplift. He informed me on what to expect pre, during and post surgery including scarring and pain.

On the day I was admitted to the ward and was down for surgery at 9am. All the team were fantastic and reassuring, my pain was very bearable afterwards only having paracetamol and small amount of anti-sickness.

I stayed overnight and was discharged early the next day. The nurses, pharmacy team, anaesthetist etc were superb, I could not fault them.

After 2 weeks I attended the clinic where my dressings were removed, I am absolutely thrilled with my results, I can NOT believe the result he has achieved with no implants. Supernatural and very very neat scars. Professor Mahajan has provided me with great aftercare and support, I could not recommend him enough.

If you're considering any breast surgery please book in to discuss your options, my only regret is not doing it sooner!

Firstly I must point out that I found Mr Ajay Mahajan by extensive research which took me many many hours to do, but this time and effort was of vital importance because when undergoing elective surgery and paying for procedures such as mine ( Mastopexy and implant ) you have to get it done correctly first time around.

Mr Mahajan is a gentleman who has a very relaxed reassuring approach and he was able to answer all of my questions and concerns and spelt out what was achievable and what the results would be for a lady in her 60’s.

This gave me the confidence to have the procedure done and I am so glad I did as I found it life-changing.

I am now 4 months post-op and I am delighted with the results of my surgery and would certainly recommend Mr Mahajan to anyone wanting the same procedure.

Wish I had this done years ago. I have always had extra skin on my eye which made me feel very conscious. I’m in my early 40s and never gone a day in my life without makeup until I had the surgery done, now I don’t bother with makeup at all (unless going out out).

The procedure went so well, I didn’t feel a single thing during it. I did lots of research and took arnica tablets before and after surgery and didn’t bruise at all. I’m now 4 months post treatment and my scars have practically gone. Love my new appearance.

Initial consultation was in January 2022 where I had some idea of the procedure and decided to make a booking in to consult with Professor Mahajan.

The procedure was to remove a Dorsal Hump that was negatively affecting me about my appearance. The consultation was a brief introduction to the procedure, why I wanted to do it, how long I had been thinking about it, when I would like to do it, aftercare and post procedure. I was well informed and happily filled out the consent documentation, however there was an extensive waiting list post COVID and so I was waiting for several months, after being contacted later on in the year with spaces available I decided to stay on the waiting list due to financial reasons, and was then contacted again in the year, but then removed myself from the waiting list as being very busy. Come the following year towards the end of 2023 the thought of having the procedure was much more viable and so I went in for another consultation with Professor Mahajan, re-signing the paper work and requested a date for January 2024 which his secretary kindly accommodated for and that was suitable for me. On procedure day, I was quite relaxed with a 7am arrival, brief words from the professor, nurse, anaesthetist to inform me of what’s going to happen during the day and calming the nerves and taking food orders as well. Around 10am I was taken into prep and put on general anaesthetic, and procedure was underway, a few hours later I woke up feeling well with no bruises, no black eyes and a large covering over my nose of course. I was returned to my own room to rest, having to stay overnight, the nurses looked after me well, coming to see me every few hours and providing food. The following day I was collected late afternoon to go home.

I had a 6 week and 12 week check up to ensure all is healing and settling well which it was and the Professor then released me back to the care of my GP.

Overall, a great experience, smooth and efficient and I got what I wanted. Happier and more confident.

I was considering breast reduction for a few years as I am 24 and felt my chest size was seriously affecting my confidence, mental and physical heatlh. I always used my size as an excuse not to exercise as they hurt so much and were always in the way! No clothing looked good on me (or even appropriate) because my breasts were just too big. I was regularly buying tops 2 sizes bigger than I needed, and buying bras was such a difficult and expensive task !!

Professor Mahajan validated my feelings towards my chest size, their weight, and the reasons why I was so unhappy with them.

On the day of the surgery, I was so nervous. I was admitted at 7 in the morning and went into theatre only 2.5 hours later, after meeting with the Anaesthetist, who was so comforting and kind, and Professor Mahajan, who drew out what he was going to change and remove,. All of the hosptial staff were also so lovely to me and considerate of my nerves! I was discharged only 2 days later and recovered at home for 2 weeks.

16 weeks post op and I am so so happy with the outcome! They are a perfect size for my body shape and the attention to detail is immaculate. The scars are so neat! I am very pleased with Professor Mahajan's brilliant work, I HIGHLY recommend him for anyone who feels they are unsure of who they'd like to do this procedure for them. I am so grateful for his consideration towards my reasoning behind committing to such a major operation. No regrets whatsoever! This was the best decision I have ever made.

Absolutely amazing team and staff at Evolve Medical Centre. Everyone was so friendly and supportive. Professor Mahajan and the nurse whom worked closely with him were just so professional, and informative, made me feel relaxed and kept checking in on me during the procedure. I had been considering this procedure for a long time, and as soon as I met Mr. Ajay Mahajan and his team at Evolve, my decision was made. I had complete confidence in Mr. Mahajan’s skill and professionalism, and any doubts I had completely disappeared.

The surgery itself was a very personalized and friendly experience, and I received excellent care and reassurance throughout. I would also like to mention that the initial post-op pain that I had expected was very minimal.

The most challenging part for me was the chafing and rubbing from my underwear during the first 3-4 weeks, so I recommend wearing big, plain, cotton underwear. I even turned them inside out to avoid the seams!

It has now been 10 weeks since my procedure, and I am fully healed and have resumed all regular activities (including a spin bike!). Occasionally, I feel some tightness on the scar tissue, which I am managing with bio-oil.

I am extremely pleased with the results of the surgery and feel much more positive about this part of my body. As many others have said in their reviews, I wish I had done this years ago as I now regret the time I spent in discomfort and unhappiness with my appearance.

I have just come back from my first holiday in 12 years where I've worn a bikini!! My body confidence is through the roof and it's all thanks to Ajay Mahajan and his life changing surgery.

I had a tummy tuck, muscle repair and lipo with him in September last year. From the first consultation I knew Ajay Mahajan would be the best surgeon for this procedure - especially as I'd waited over 10 years to have this done following a twin pregenancy, I wanted to ensure I only went with the best for this and I am so glad I did.

His experience and knowledge put me at ease from the very start, every question I asked was answered and I felt in very good hands. Even his PA Nicola was exceptional and super helpful.

The surgery went as well as planned and I cried when I saw my results, I couldn't believe how good they were and as the months passed they just got better and better. I'm now 9 months and love wearing crop tops any time I can!

The aftercare I received from him was exceptional with regular check ups, particularly because I had to keep my drains in a little longer than the average paitent- but I never felt concerned about this as knew I was being well cared for, even when I returned home i had regular appointments and received great advice on how to aid my home recovery.

I couldn't get over what a breeze my whole recovery was and that at the end of my four months I was able to go on a skiing holiday and be fully back in the gym. When I was researching plastic surgeons I was thrilled to find that Prof Mahajan, a very experienced surgeon with excellent reviews, was based in a very close proximity to my home.

From entering the Evolve Clinic, I knew I was going to be in safe hands. The staff were very knowledgeable and professional and completely put me at ease.

The surgery was under local anaesthetic and took approx 4 hours. It was a very comfortable procedure. The area was numbed. I was not sedated so afterwards I was able to go home fairly soon.

I had a very uneventful recovery. I had to wear a chin strap for a week. In fact I was out walking my dog the next day. My face was more uncomfortable rather than painful.

Although swollen for a week or two I was thrilled with the results. My main concern was my heavy jowls and they had completely gone. My neck was much improved too.

I am now 5 months post-op and would highly recommend prof Mahajan to anyone considering surgery.

For many years, I have always been unhappy with the appearance and feel of my breasts and have, on many occasions, considered getting implants in order to boost my confidence. I am due to get married in July 2024 and knowing how important it is for me to feel good in my dress, my partner asked whether I wanted to consider having breast surgery.

My partner doesn’t like the feel of implants so I initially carried out research into a fat transfer procedure to (hopefully) allow me have the breasts I longed for as well as keep the feel as natural as possible.

I found Professor Mahajan worked from a private hospital close to where I live and was able to arrange a consultation to discuss my options. I explained my concerns about the naturalness of the breasts after a procedure and after an examination, Professor Mahajan was able to recommend to my that I had a breast uplift rather than implants. My breasts still contained enough fat and tissue that this would be possible.

It was not something I had considered and immediately felt better that both myself and my partner would get what we wanted.
I undertook the procedure in March 2024 at Spire Hospital, in Elland and I am so glad I did. I am thoroughly pleased with how they look and sit and, for the first time in years, I was able to wear an outfit for my birthday without having to stuff my breasts in a bra. I also had my first dress fitting recently and they look amazing in my dress and I can’t wait to walk down the aisle. The treatment is great.
