I found the Barcelona clinic through a friend who had had her GRS there and following some investigation on my part I decided to have both GRS and Breast Augmentation (so wonderfully called chest feminisation). I was admitted at 8 am on the Monday morning and within the hour I was under general anaesthetic and being operated on with both procedures being done in the one day. I was so happy with the result and the level of care provided. The staff are without exception friendly and attentive and the accommodation excellent (one person I showed a photo of the room asked if I was in a 5 star hotel). The food is another wonderful experience so much so that even after being transferred from the clinic to a local hotel for another weeks of recuperation, we would visit the clinic restaurant for midday meals. Apart from the quality of the medical treatment one other factor that did influence my decisions was the cost, the treatment at the IM clinic is a lot less than I would have had to pay for the same treatment in the UK and, in my opinion, of much better quality.

I´d like to express my sincere gratitude to Dr. Rodríguez Vega. I´d like to point out her remarkable skills as a surgeon are really impressive. From the first consultation, I noticed her unparalleled dedication and professionalism ensuring patients feel understood and cared for. Not only she is exceptional at her job but is also empathetic and personable which truly makes a difference. She is always willing to listen and address all concerns with patience and understanding, you never feel alone. Same for Lydia and Raquel, they are a remarkable team. I am very grateful to have her as my surgeon and I have no words to describe her greatness.. It is a true example of medical excellence. Thank you, Ana, for everything you do.

Ive had Surgery with Dr Esbry and dental work done here at this clinic, cannot recommend them enough, they listen to the customer and speak very good English. The clinic was very clean.

Fantastic experience from start to finish with the clinic. Cannot recommend enough for the exceptional clinical care. Everything was explained and I was made feel at ease which is very important when having facial surgery. For any future surgery, I know where to go. Dr Birbe is an expert in his area, and not all surgeons are created equal. I am very pleased with the pre and post-op care and my recovery will hopefully go as smoothly as the procedure I had.

Gynecomastia played with me for years! I’m glad it has been removed. Cost including flights was about 2,400. I have a slight issue but unsure if it was due the compression vest or the surgery but I have a slight dimple in my chest now, would rather that than the lump, however still only 5 weeks post op.
