I found Dr Angeles through the A Institute. During our consults, he demonstrated clear expertise in his field; and yet was very patient and accommodating. On the day of my surgery, he asked me how I was. I replied, “I’m not sure how ready I am”. He reassured me, “well I’m ready”. I knew that I could trust him 100%. Dr Angeles corrected my tuberous breast condition. It has been only 2 days post-surgery, but I feel my lifelong insecurity reversing very quickly. Physically, recovery is a bit painful, but every sensation is so worth it. The results are beautiful. Dr Angeles is not only a very competent surgeon, but he is also a gifted sculptor!

I am very happy that I chose Dr Vice Firmalo for my Tummy tuck/Arm & jawline lipo/fat transfer to the lips and chin/buccal fat removal. He was very responsive during pre-op and is even more responsive post-op. Hands-on, personable doctor, with no sense of arrogance, he will make you feel very at ease. I can't thank him enough for his kind and thoughtful concern in regard to my health and for providing me with excellent medical and physical care. My surgery went really well, healed faster than expected and to my surprise, I didn't feel a single pain. Choosing a board-certified Surgeon really makes a difference. Achieving the body and result I desire without any fear and that feeling of "yeah it's with Dr vice so I'm safe", are non-negotiable. Can't wait to plan my surgery again and only with Dr. Vice next year.

Breast Implants  
One of the more popular procedures requested is breast augmentation. The reasons for breast augmentation are varied: from being naturally having a genetic predisposition for a skinny body and a proportionally small breasts to “wanting” to retain her previously youthful, well-endowed bossoms that were loss to giving birth and nursing babies or simply to enhance her feminine sex appeal. Not to be outdone are transvestites who go to all extremes to look “naturally” female. There are basically 2 types of shapes of breast implants: round shape and anatomic shape (“tear-drop”). Based on surface; there are 3 types: smooth, textured and polyurethane. Based on composition; 2 types: silicone (medical grade of course) and saline but both in elastomere bags made of silicone. With regards to approaches / incisions to insert an implant; 3 approaches for round smooth silicone implants: Axilla (armpit), peri-areolar or inframammary; for anatomic implants: peri-areolar or inframammary and for saline implants: peri-areolar, inframammary and transumbilical (TUBA). The placement of the implants can be in a subglandular plane or in a dual plane, under the muscle on the supero-medial and subglandular in the infero-lateral pole.

A minimally invasive method of removing excessive deposits of fat, in-between the skin and muscle layers, in unwanted places. Usually these accumulated lumps of fat are resistant to diet and exercise. Most common areas affected are the belly, the sides of the thighs, the sides of the waist and the back of the upper arms. In some, fat also accumulates under the chin, at the chest (in males, resulting in “man-boobs”), back (back “rolls”) and the legs and forearms. The process involves using long thin tubes which deliver the tumescent fluid to the target areas through small cuts in the skin about 3mm to 5mm in size. Strategically located so as not to be readily visible the fat is the removed by applying negative pressure (vacuum) through these long thin tubes we call cannula’s. Liposuction is also called suction assisted lipectomy.
