He specializing in cosmetic and reconstructive plastic surgery, with over 25 years experience, studied medicine in Florida, USA and received the title of "Doctor of Medicine" by the University of Miami School of Medicine. He completed graduate studies, first in general surgery and then in the specialty of Plastic Surgery at Baylor University in Houston, Texas, USA. It was certified and certified as a specialist by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (one of two plastic surgeons with this certification in Peru), title that revalidated at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia and was a scholarship from the DAAD Federal Republic of Germany, at the Technical University of Munich. Later development in private practice in San Felipe Medical Center in Lima and the Cedars Medical Center in Miami, Florida, USA. It is academic of the Peruvian Academy of Surgery, "Fellow" of the American College of Surgery (FACS), head teacher of the academic department of surgery and coordinator of the educational program of plastic surgery at the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. He is a member of more than 20 medical societies in Peru and abroad and has held important positions in many of them: Owner and President of the Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery of Peru. President and Life Member, Society of Latin American Plastic Surgeons of the United States and Canada. Founding Member, MD Anderson Associates, University of Texas Cancer Institute. Active Member and National Secretary for Peru, International Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Corresponding Member, American Society of Plastic Surgeons. He is the author of 4 books and 25 papers Plastic Surgery published in national and international journals; guest professor has lectured extensively Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery in various countries of America and Europe. Throughout his career he has received several awards and distinctions, such as that awarded in 2000 by the Medical College of Peru in "Honor of Merit" for his outstanding professional work.
