She has been nursing since 1979 having trained at Palmerston North.
Cathi has had a wide range of experience working in the fields of orthopaedics, oncology, general surgery, recovery and nursing management positions.
Cathi became a plastic surgery specialist practice manager in 1999.
Ms Penny Sinclair
Job Title: Nurse Biography: Penny is the practice nurse and helps in the local anaesthetic theatre as well as doing dressings and helping to counsel patients for some procedures.
She trained in Palmerston North qualifying in 1990. She worked in orthopaedics before then spending 13 years as a “Post Anaesthetic Care” (Recovery) Nurse. During this time Penny established the New Zealand National Conference for Post Anaesthesia Nursing. She was also the Surgical Project Manager for ICU/Theatres at the New Wellington Regional Hospital.
