He was born in Monterrey, México. He attended medical school at the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León, where he graduated with honors. He underwent specialty training in General Surgery at the Universidad de Monterrey and spent four years honing his skills at Christus Muguerza Hospital. He was named Chief of Residents at Jalisco Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Institute and completed the training with honors, obtaining the degree of Esthetic and Reconstructive Surgeon under the direction José Guerrerosantos, M.D., a world-renowned plastic surgeon. As part of his training, he also spent time in rotation with top American plastic surgeons. Because of this, Dr. Wolberg gained valuable experience at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, Maryland with Dr. Paul Manson; at the Manhattan Ear, Eye and Throat Hospital in New York with Dr. Alan Matarasso; and at the Shriners Burns Hospital in Galveston, Texas with Dr. David Herdon. He is board certified by the Mexican Board of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and regularly attends the annual meetings for the American Society of Plastic Surgery (ASPS), the American Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), and the International Symposium of Aesthetic Plastic Surgery of the Jalisco Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Institute.
