LIPS Clinic

dr. J Prianto L.A. BSc. (Hons) was born in Jakarta and completed his undergraduate medical degree at Trisakti University Jakarta. He then completed his Medical National Government Examination at the Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia.

He was  then awarded a scholarship to study  at the University of the Arts London. He gained a First Class (Summa cum Laude) Honours Degree, Bachelor of Science in Cosmetic Science studying with Professor Danka Tamburic.

While in London he worked with leading brands such as Coty and Lancome as an advisor and has extensive experience in luxury brands.

In Jakarta dr. Prianto founded the London Institute Aesthetic Medicine in 2014, quickly establishing the clinic as a leading centre for aesthetic treatments. Since then he extended the London Institute into Plastic Surgery, (London Institute Plastic Surgery, or ‘LIPS’ for short). After the success of LIPS, dr Prianto has expanded the clinics offerings under the ‘LIPS’ name to include Dentistry, Cosmetic Dentistry, Dermatology, Rehabilitation Medicine, Hypnotherapy and Nutrition Counseling in addition to Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Medicine.

dr. Prianto has been a speaker at numerous symposia and presentations and enjoys bringing the latest treatments to the people of Jakarta and Indonesia. To help in this Gramedia published dr. Prianto’s book ‘Cantik’ in 2014 which was displayed and sold in leading bookstores throughout Indonesia. In addition, dr. Prianto has published several Medical Text books for Medical Students.

dr. Prianto as well as being the founder of LIPS Clinic is also Chief Executive and Creative Director across all the LIPS Clinic Specialities.

dr. Adinda Marita, Sp.BP-RE is a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. She comes from a family of famous surgeons. Her grandfather is a renowned Indonesian surgeon pioneering in cardiovascular surgery and renal transplantations. Her father is also a distinguished surgeon, one of the first paediatric cardiovascular surgeons in Indonesia.

Following in her grandfather and father’s footsteps, Doctor Adinda decided to pursue a career in medicine. She studied biomedical science in Australia, completing her degree at Australia’s world famous Melbourne University in 2004. dr. Adinda then went on to complete her Surgeon’s Degree at Indonesia’s top University Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia. She graduated in Reconstructive and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in 2014.

During her residency dr. Adinda received First Prize, The Golden Knife Award, for her research paper on Microsurgery. This paper was presented at the Asia Pacific Microsurgery Meeting in Korea in 2014.

dr. Adinda has expanded her skills in micro surgery by attending the Microsurgery and Training Course in Singapore. In addition she has attended several aesthetic medicine seminars in Taiwan and Singapore and presented case reports in the European Burn Meeting in Vienna, Austria.

In addition to her duties at Pelni Hospital, dr. Adinda brings her skills to the team of plastic surgeons at LIPS Plastic Surgery. Her experience and expertise can help patients improve their own appearance, self confidence and feeling of well-being.

drg. Hana born in bandung and graduated from her undergraduate dentistry course at Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia in 2013. She then went on to complete her professtional qualification in the same institution in 2015. [In 2016 she started studying her specialisation PPDGS Orthodontics in 2016. ] At University drg. Hana was an active participant in a range of activities culminating in serving as the Secretary to the Pantai Committee at The 17th Scientific Meeting & Refresher Course in Dentistry (KPPIKG 2016) held by the Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Indonesia.

drg. Irma Aryani, Sp.Ort was born in Banda Aceh started studying Dentistry at Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Prof. Dr Moestopo (Bergama) in Jakarta, in 2000. drg. Irma then went on to complete her Spesialis Orthodonsia at Fakultas Kedokteran Gigi Universitas Indonesia in 2012.

Participating in Seminars across ASEAN, such as The Asian Damon forum Bangkok in 2017, The 10th Asia Pacific Orthodonthic conference in 2016 and the Association of Orthodontists (Singapore) Congress in 2015, drg Irma was also a Speaker at KPPIKG 2013, 16th Scientific Meeting & Refresher Course in Dentistry in 2013 and presented the best research paper at 8th FDI-IDA Joint Meeting 2012.

More recent activity includes being a Speaker at the Unsyiah Scientific Dental Meeting in 2017 and the Invisalign Provider Training Course (by Align technology) also in 2017.

As a Specialist Orthodontist her goal is to help LIPS Clinic’s patients achieve a beautiful symmetrical smile coaxing teeth into the best position to accomplish this.

Born and educated in Surabaya, drg Rania graduated from the Program Pendidikan Dokter Gigi at Universitas Airlangga in 2004. drg Rania then went on to complete the Program Pendidikan Dokter Gigi Spesialis, Prostodonsia in 2007 at the same institution.  As a prosthodontist, drg Rania spesialises in the aesthetic (cosmetic) restoration and replacement of teeth.  She restores optimum appearance and function to your smile. Her role involves the planning, surgical placement and restoration of implants. In addition the rehabilitation of occlusion with prostheses all fall under her field of prosthodontics.

Since completing her specialisation, drg Rania moved to Jakarta and has worked in a range of premium clinics and is a welcome and valuable addition to the team of specialists Dentists at LIPS Clinic.

dr. Yoga Kurniawan’s specialisation is Hypnotherapy. Jakarta born dr. Yoga started medical training at Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Kristen Indonesia, Jakarta (S.KED), graduating in 2006. He then went on to complete his professional training as a Doctor at the same institution in 2008. In addition to his medical qualification, dr. Yoga studied hypnotism and hypnotherapy at the Indonesian Board of Hypnotherapy. He became a Certified Hypnotist in 2007 and a Certified Hypnotherapist in 2008. dr. Yoga is a member of both Anggota Perhimpunan Hipnoterapi Medis Indonesia (Indonesian Medical Hypnotherapy Society) and IDI (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, Indonesian Doctors Society) and has held positions in both the Neurology Department at RSU UKI and Klinik DK.

dr. Yoga’s Hypnotherapy skills can help patients overcome bad habits or cope with stress. He consults with the partient to determine the nature of the problem, then prepares the patient to enter a hypnotic state by explaining how hypnosis works and what client will experience. dr. Yoga tests the patient to determine degree of physical and emotional suggestibility. He then induces a hypnotic state in the patient, using individualized methods and techniques of hypnosis based on interpretation of test results and analysis of the patient’s problem.

dr. Dian Hadiati, Sp.KFR specialisation is in Rehabilitation Medicine. Dr. Dian studied her undergraduate MD degree at the Faculty of Medicine,Universitas Kristen Indonesia in Jakarta, graduating in 2008. Her Postgraduate work as Resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation was conducted at dr Cipto Mangunkusomo Hospital, Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia graduating in 2014

A member of both PERDOSRI (the Indonesian Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association) and IDI (Ikatan Dokter Indonesia, Indonesian Doctors Society), dr. Dian has several published papers to her name in her specialised field of Rehabilitation Medicine.

In 2012 dr. Dian published a study on The Influence of Exercise in Obesity Clinic on Body Weight, BMI Patients with Knee Osteoarthritis. In 2014 a further study was published on Validity and Reliability The Indonesian Version of Stroke Quality of Life (SS-QQL) in Stroke Patient.

In addition to her published studies, dr. Dian was a Prize Wnner in the Research Competition during the 14th Annual Scientific Meeting of the Indonesian Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Association in 2015. In 2016 dr. Dian undertook a Travelling Fellowship to Korea.

dr. Dian understands the challenges facing patients recovering from serious illness or injury and has dedicated her career to helping them make the greatest progress possible. Patience and diligence are the keys to a successful outcome and dr. Dian brings her expertise and understanding to LIPS Clinic to help patients make the fullest possible recovery.

dr. Nani Utami Dewi, M.Gizi, Sp.GK is LIPS Clinic’s clinical nutrition specialist. dr. Nani started her medical training at Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas YARSI in central Jakarta graduating in 2002. After several years practice in hospitals and the Gran Melia Hotel as the in-house doctor, dr Nani studied her Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition (Magister Ilmu Gizi Klinic) at Fakultas Kedokteran Universitas Indonesia, graduating in 2015. She then continued her training in clinical nutrition qualifying as a Clinical Nutriton Specialist (Dokter Spesialis Gizi Klinik) at the same institution.

dr. Nani specialises in the management of illness and disease via Clinical Nutrition Therapy. This covers conditions such as metabolic and degenerative diseases, critical illnesses and major injuries and obesity. In addtion dr. Nani specialises in perioperative nutrition (nutrition both before and after operations), serious injuries and geriatrics.

dr. Nani is an active participant in seminars in her area of expertise, attending several seminars a year. Highlights include Gizi Optimal Pada 1000 hari pertama, April 2013, The 9th Seminar & Case Study on Obesity August 2015 and The 3rd Jakarta Annual Meeting of Clinical Nutrition, Perhimpunan Dokter Gizi Klinik Indonesia, August 2016.

dr. Nani brings her sympathetic and understanding approach to patients in need of help. In many cases illnesses can be caused, or made worse by, an unbalanced diet. dr. Nani discusses with the patient their current diet and develops a plan with them to improve their diet to support other treatment goals.
