Dr Konstantinos Alexandrou
Biography:
He was graduated in 1985 - with scholarship from Papadakis Foundation - from the Medical School of Athens. Then, he completed his training in General Surgery in Greek hospitals of public and private sectors. In 1992, he was granted a four-year scholarship from the Japanese Ministry of Education in order to be trained in Plastic Surgery. In Kagawa University in Japan, he took specialty in Congenital Malformations (cleft lip / palate, microtia) as well as in Reconstructive Microsurgery and Cosmetic Surgery (blepharoplasty, rhinoplasty, otoplasty). He continued his scientific course in the U.S.A., when, in 1996, he was accepted a proposal for Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship by the Professor Mr. Joe McCarthy at NYU. There, he received specialized training in several fields such as management of patients with craniofacial malformations and orthognathic surgeries, with extensive application in Cosmetic Surgery.
