Medical Travel Czech Republic - Plastic Surgery

I have recently returned following a facelift and upper and lower eyelid surgery. Can tell you I had a really good experience from beginning to end everything was well organised I found the clinic to be small, personal and friendly and clean With a couple of bedrooms and a fully functional theatre. The surgeon was lovely as was the anaesthetist and I felt confident in their ability If you are thinking of a facelift and don't want a full anaesthetic you can have it done with a really strong sedative and local anaesthetic which is what I did I did not feel a thing and did not have to put up with the after-effects of a general anaesthetic. I was really impressed as to how easy it all was.

It was such good value I would have paid 3 times the amount if I had had the same surgery in the UK and that includes the cost of the flight and hotel. The surgery went well and the aftercare during the night I spent in the clinic was second to none. The surgeon remains in the clinic overnight and came in and out to check up on me I spent one night in the clinic and returned there for a check-up before I came home. It is early days but the results are already looking very good I'm am so pleased. I decided to take the plunge and am considering going back later this year for an arm lift.

I would encourage anyone who is thinking of cosmetic surgery to go ahead as they will be in good hands

I was very worried about travelling to a foreign country to get surgery but I contacted Janina and she helped me through the entire process. I got liposuction in Prague and I am more than thrilled with not only my results but how she had taken care of me through the whole process. She emailed me prices, booked a hotel for me, met e at the clinic and sat through the whole consultation with me; translating for me and the doctor. If you’re worried about price this is absolutely the best price I’ve seen and I had been doing research for years. I almost paid 6,000 euro for the same surgery and thankfully I found Medical Travel Czech, paid 2,600 plus got to tour around Prague while I was at it. I absolutely do not regret my decision to travel abroad for surgery! I was really unsure at first, even after reading mostly good reviews, you always tend to keep the bad ones in your mind. From start to finish everything was done professionally and personally. My patient coordinator, Barbora, was fantastic, we communicated a lot and everything was taken care of. My surgeon Dr. Vasek was polite and spoke really good English. He was so positive about my surgery and so far I am really happy with his work. The clinic was immaculate and all the staff were well presented and attentive. I will be returning in July for a second surgery and I cannot wait!

I decided that I wanted to go abroad for surgery. I knew that Prague was at the forefront of Plastic Surgery, so went on-line to look at my options. I immediately came across Medical Travel Czech Republic, the reviews about them were all positive. I made contact via their online form stating what I was looking for. Within a day I had received a response from Martina, a co-ordinator. She gave me the option of lots of surgeons based at varying clinics, and the full background information on all of them. I chose to go with Dr Vasek at Forme Clinic. I had seen details of his career history, medical registrations and what his specialism was. Just to make sure, I cross-referenced all of this with a check via the internet, and everything was totally accurate. I can honestly say that I felt very lucky to have access to such an amazing surgeon through this company.

I was asked to send photos through for Dr Vasek to review, and following that I was given a price for my surgery - a fraction of what it would have cost in the UK, and carried out by a surgeon who is at the top of his game (I had also seen pictures of his work, and was very impressed),
Martina checked out suitable flights for me, booked my surgery (for my chosen date - secured with a deposit), arranged my accommodation (fitting around the two nights that I would be a patient in the clinic, and arranged for a taxi to collect me from the airport - at MTCR expense - (she also booked my taxi back to the airport from me when I was due to go home). I booked the flights that she recommended and was ready to go. I had everything in place within two days. Martina ensured that she was in contact with me through every part of the journey. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet her as she had to self isolate, but she did arrange for her colleague (Barbara) to meet me at the clinic and attend my consulation with me. Barbara was equally as lovely and helpful.

At my consultation, Dr Vasek was very honest and refused to do any procedure that I didn't need: something that I really appreciated. He was very personable and open about what the procedures would entail. I liked his manner, professionalism and knowledge.

Prior to having surgery, unlike in the UK, I had to have an ECG, blood tests, urine test and covid test to ensure that I was fit for the surgery.
My surgery was a three-hour procedure and went great. I was surprised that I did not feel any pain whatsoever. The nursing staff at the clinic were fantastic, and nothing was too much trouble. During my stay at the clinic, Martina was in touch with me to ensure that everything was okay, and was very supportive.

Before the surgery and when I left the clinic I stayed in the apartments above it. They are great, and I would highly recommend them. Martina also contacted me after the op to say that if I felt lonely or anything that she would call me and chat, or that I could call her at any time.
I honestly cannot recommend this company enough, they definitely have all the best contacts, are organised and professional - everything flowed superbly from start to finish.

I have come away with amazing results following my surgery which was: neck lift, lower/mid facelift and upper blepharoplasty. I was informed by Dr Vasek that I would get a high-end result (he is very realistic on outcomes) - this is becoming more and more apparent every day. He honestly is amazing.

I will be using Czech Medical Travel again in the near future.

I had a blepharoplasty and eyebrow-lift 1 week ago. Janina is a very nice person and she even stayed at the clinic until the surgery was over, and then called a taxi for me which was free for me (one taxi ride is included in the price). Although I still have bruisings I can already see the final result. The doctor made a wonderful job, and all this for such a great price!

I had an excellent experience from airport pickup to the hotel and early morning pickup to the clinic for the procedure. All the staff are very caring, friendly and very nice.

The procedure went successfully with a very highly professional surgeon. Most importantly, the discharged care packages are excellent with post-care drugs like a strong antibiotic in case of post-infection. I am so happy and I had no complications at all, everything went successfully.

I am two weeks post ‘tummy tuck’ surgery and I am one very happy lady. Since having my second child over 18 years ago, I was constantly asked ‘was I pregnant or when was I due. It used to bother me when that would happen, especially because I always worked out and watched what I ate, but my ‘jelly belly’ would never shift.

Eventually, my circumstances allowed me to go ahead with my lifelong dream of getting a ‘tummy tuck’ procedure. I have been researching this operation for many years now and always knew that the cost of getting it done at home (Ireland) was outrageous compared to getting it done abroad.

I decided that Prague was my destination to get it done as it was also a dream for me to visit this beautiful place.

The morning of my operation, I had pre-operation tests done to be sure that I was fit and eligible enough to proceed with the surgery. The surgeon was an absolute gentleman and thoroughly explained what was to happen.

I had liposuction on my hips and upper tummy as this made it easier to reshape my new stomach. The surgery was about 3 - 4 hours and I stayed in the clinic for two nights after the surgery.

The stitches were dissolvable, my own doctor back at home checked them for me, was really impressed with my ‘scar’ and healing. I left the clinic in Prague with antibiotics, painkillers and a protective garment that I need to wear for four weeks.

I was never left in pain at the clinic and had no infection following the surgery.

I honestly can recommend going abroad for cosmetic surgery to anyone considering it.

Janina from Medical Travel Czech was the person who responded to my initial query. She was also the person who helped with organising my operation, the clinic, surgeon and also was absolutely great with suggestions for places to stay that was within walking distance to and from the clinic.

There were no hidden costs or surprises with the travel, operation or price. Every single detail in the email arrangements happened as planned.

I cannot recommend Medical Travel Czech enough to anyone considering travelling abroad for surgery.

From a ‘jelly belly’ customer to a ‘yummy tummy’ very happy customer!

I had an upper and lower eye lift with the Forme Clinic by Dr Jan Vasek.

My experience was so comfortable from start to finish. With the support team of Janina and Vojta for accompanying me to the clinic on the morning of my surgery and to checking with me post surgery.

I could not recommend Doctor Vasek and his team enough. To the medical travel company who arranged my surgery in the Forme Clinic Prague. Both the reps Janina and Vojta were exceptional, went beyond, above to ensure l was knowledgeable and comfortable about my surgery. Also, made me feel very welcome to Prague.

I had Rhinoplasty surgery performed by Dr. Vasek on 19/06/17. It's now been a month since my surgery and I am so far happy with the result. My nose is straighter and it still looks natural. There is still some swelling and I won't see the final result for around a year but I am very impressed with the result so far. I no longer feel self-conscious about my nose. I was not in any pain after the surgery and the cast came off ten days later. I had slight bruising but they faded within a week or so and nobody has been able to tell. I am so happy with my new nose.

I would recommend anyone who is thinking about having surgery to get it done here as it is very good value for money and all the staff are very nice. Lucie was very informative and quick to respond to any questions I had. She was so nice! You do get well looked after and the staff are always checking that you're okay. I am very happy that I had my surgery done here and if I ever planned to have future surgery then this is the place I would come to.

I had 3 procedures. Blepharoplasty, chin lipo, and male breast reduction. It was a good value for the procedures and I was happy with the price. However, there were initial human errors made with the pricing and the deposit amounts I had to pay. Which was a bit stressful as I needed to withdraw more cash prior to my trip. The information I received told me to plan for 2 days stay in the clinic.

Once in Prague and at the clinic on the day of my surgery, I was told my treatment plan changed and that I could only stay at the clinic for 1 night. This again was a stress I did not need. Trying to find accommodation in the center of Prague at such short notice, worried I'd be kicked out the clinic with nowhere to go.

This was very inconvenient. I eventually managed to extend my stay at a hotel I'd booked to a day earlier than planned, at an extortionate rate of 220 euros for an extra 1 nights stay.

The following day as expected my face was a mess, my face and eyes were so swollen I could hardly see. However, I left the clinic as asked with my head strapped up and my dark shades on. Don't forget your shades!!! they hide a lot. As I walked through Prague in the middle of summer all strapped up I felt like a freak everybody staring at me. Once at my hotel I never left my hotel room for 4 days other than for breakfast.

Overall I'm happy with the surgeon and the surgery, but I think the clinic could have managed me and my stay in Prague much more efficiently. They should have allowed me to stay an extra day in the clinic too to help my swelling and reduce the stress of finding alternative accommodation and the whole surgery abroad experience in general.

I chose the clinic as the reviews were good.

If the customer is always right, then everyone reading this should be able to take my word when I say that The Medical Travel Clinic in the Czech Republic Is a benchmark of quality within the medical industry. I was pleased to have received such quality care and service when I went in for my Eyelid surgery. My recommendation goes without saying and is completely unconditional.

I certainly got more than my money’s worth while visiting the clinic. All services and duties were performed to extra-ordinary levels. The price, the service, the excellence from the doctors and finally the final product. All of it reflect a strong institution.

After looking at having a gastric balloon fitted I found that the prices at Medical Travel were 1/3 of the UK, so I decided to go for it!

Hannah my International Client Coordinator was absolutely fantastic and took care of everything before the procedure, including translating if there were any language barriers (most of the staff spoke English), organizing taxis and picking me up from my hotel on the morning of the surgery.

The procedure was fairly quick, although due to the sedation I have no memory of it, which is a good thing I guess. People react differently to this procedure & unfortunately I was one of the bad ones, so I had severe sickness for the first 4 days which has now settled down. 5 days later and I have lost 16lbs. It looks like this was the best decision I ever made.

The clinic was very modern, clean & tidy.
