The first few are to remove dressings and drain tubes. The rest are for a meticulous follow up of the scar. My scar is very thin and started to disappear. Dr. Noreña referred me to abdomen physical therapy to drain fluids that accumulated during surgery which is normal and helped the new skin attach to the new formed abdominal muscles. My abdomen is flat and beautiful, I can wear most bikinis and while losing about 20 pounds was critical for me to get my surgery to get top results, I have kept my almost ideal weight and feel very comfortable with all aspects of my abdominoplasty with Dr. Noreña.
Dr. Noreña was available for email questions and telephone questions through his assistants throughout my pre and post-surgery. Even months after I had returned home.
