He graduated with a degree of Doctor of Medicine and Surgery at Javeriana University in Bogota, he did his training at the Hospital of San Ignacio in the specialty of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck. Later he supplemented his specialty performing the graduate Facial Plastic Surgery, at the University of Medellín CES. He has been university professor for the past 25 years, including general practice otolaryngology, pediatric, facial plastic surgery and laser surgery which has been one of the pioneers in Colombia.
