In 1990, he received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Toronto. Following this, he attained his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Virginia and undertook his general surgery residency at the esteemed Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore. Dr. Adibfar completed his postgraduate Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery residency by dividing his time between Vanderbilt University Hospital and the University of Toronto. In 2003, Dr. Adibfar became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada in Plastic Surgery.
