Dr. Husain was born in the Middle East, where he received his Medical School education at the Arabian Gulf University. He then went through a residency training program there in General Surgery for 5 years.
In 1996, he was accepted in the McGill University Surgery Program for further training in Plastic Surgery. During this period, he received training for a wide range of Plastic & Reconstructive procedures. He also received an award for Best Reconstructive Research Paper at the Senior Residents conference in Seattle in 2001 for a study on Reconstructive Needs of Breast Cancer Patients with Partial Mastectomy Defects.
Graduated from McGill University in 2002 after successfully passing his Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada examination, Dr. Husain then moved to Moncton, New Brunswick, where he quickly established a busy and successful practice. In 2006,
Dr. Husain took time off his practice and went for further specialization at the University of British Columbia in the field of Reconstructive Breast Surgery, where he received his Post-Graduate Fellowship certificate.
Dr. Husain performs Plastic, Reconstructive & Cosmetic Surgery at the Moncton Hospital, Georges L. Dumont Hospital and Sackville Hospital, serving the patients in New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI. He is currently planning to open a private Cosmetic Surgery Clinic & Spa in the Greater Moncton Area.
