Da Vinci Clinic

Dermatology and aesthetic medicine The Da Vinci Clinic was set up by Dr Bieke Heykants. She graduated, with “summa cum laude”, from the Catholic University of Leuven as a doctor of medicine in 1993. This excellent result enabled her to then specialise in dermatology with Professor Degreef as her tutor for four years. In 1997 she started her dermatology practice at Antwerpsesteenweg 235 in Vosselaar, which grew so quickly she asked fellow dermatologists to join her. Dr Heykants has since specialised in dermatological and cosmetic applications, including laser treatments. This apparatus is used, among other things, for hair removal, tattoo removal, removal of varicose veins, wrinkles, skin tightening and cellulite… Dr Bieke Heykants has therefore also surrounded herself with skilled nurses and beauticians, who carry out some of these treatments. Because her practice at Antwerpsesteenweg 235 in Vosselaar became too small, a new location was sought and found in Beerse, at Kempenlaan 36. On 1 September 2008 we moved to our new, modern Da Vinci clinic where treatment of dermatological conditions, anti-wrinkle treatments and also aesthetic operations under the supervision of specialised doctors are available to the patient. Dr Heykants recently started training fellow doctors in injection techniques.

Dermatology In 2009 Dr. Kempeneers graduated from Leuven University. He then specialized in dermatology with Prof. Dr. Garmyn as his tutor. In his first year apprenticeship he worked in the Atrium MC Heerlen led by Dr. Lucker. Then he did an internship with Dr. Boonen in Geel. In 2013 he graduated as a dermatologist. He also has a master trained in Dermatology and Venereology. Dr. Kempeneers is specialized in sclerotherapy, contact allergy and psoriasis.

Dr Elke Geluyckens graduated from Antwerp University with “magna cum laude” in 2004. She then specialised in dermatology at Antwerp Training Hospital with Professor Julien Lambert as her tutor. In October 2008 she started at the Da Vinci Clinic as a dermatologist, treating dermatologic syndromes such as psoriasis, eczema, allergies... as well as assessing and following up pigmentation spots and carrying out small operations. She also treats hair and nail pathologies.
