Job Title: Surgeon Biography: He has been specialising in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the past eighteen years. He completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1982. He went on to do a post graduate fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
Dr Ian Tassan
Job Title: Surgeon Biography: After obtaining his medical degree M.B., Ch.B. in 1978, he obtained general medical experience during a year of internship and then 2 years working in a rural hospital during compulsory National Service. Following that work experience he then embarked on becoming a Surgical Specialist training in Cape Town. He then obtained his Fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery in 1988 and returned to Port Elizabeth to commence private practice as a Plastic Surgeon in 1989.
Dr Tristan de Chalain Biography: He completed his medical and surgical degrees in South Africa. He was then accepted for advanced postgraduate fellowships at two renowned North American institutes: Emory University’s affiliated hospitals in Atlanta, and the world-renowned Hospital for Sick Children in downtown Toronto.
