Dr Guy Falco - Practice Director at Harborne Chiropractic Clinic

Dr Guy Falco

Job Title:
  Practice Director
Specialisations:
  Chiropractic
Languages:
  English
Biography:

I experienced chiropractic care from an early age for various sporting injuries and whiplash following a car accident. The benefits of chiropractic care inspired me to pursue chiropractic as a career and has given me the skills to educate others on how to look after their health and well-being.Having graduated from the Anglo- European College of Chiropractic where I received a Masters in Chiropractic I have worked in several clinics across the South of England.I am a keen sportsman and have just competed in my first Olympic distance Triathlon in Windsor as well as various cycling sportives. Other sporting interests include rugby, cricket and an occasionally fractious relationship with golf. My passion for golf lead me to undertake the first level of the Titleist Performance Institute golf programme where I developed the skills required to assess, treat and advise not only golf injuries but to improve athletic performance.I enjoy treating all types of ailments and believe it is important to diagnose the cause of the problem not only the symptoms to ensure a successful outcome.

Biography:

I Graduated with a Masters of Chiropractic from the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic. Having been a long term admirer of chiropractic after receiving treatment at a young age for neck pain, the instant relief and improvement in the quality of my life was dramatic. This left me inspired and determined to help others. I thoroughly enjoy treating a wide range of disorders and particularly relish a challenge. I have been involved in helping a variety of sports teams from trampoline squads to athletics teams with their injuries and rehabilitation. I understand the frustration of injuries to all of us. For this reason I am not only keen on the treatment of all types of pain relief but also its prevention. From treating one week old babies to grandparents I am passionately committed to helping you fulfil your greatest potential and more.

Dr Tom Billington - Consultant at Harborne Chiropractic Clinic

Dr Tom Billington

Job Title:
  Consultant
Biography:

My interest in chiropractic stemmed from my own love of activity and movement, and after spending time in a friend’s clinic, I saw chiropractic as a way of helping people improve their lives in regards to pain and musculoskeletal function.

Since graduating from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic I have strived to improve my understanding of human movement and performance in order to better understand why and how pain develops, and why in some cases it turns chronic and long lasting.

My role as a chiropractor is to help people move naturally, efficiently, and most importantly without pain in order to bring them back to full health and I consider all aspects of a patient, whether physical, mental or nutritional, to achieve this result.

In my spare time I enjoy exercising, getting outdoors, and listening to music.

Mr William Lawton

Biography:

Since the first time that I treated someone, I have been able to see first-hand the benefits sports massage can provide. At Harborne Chiropractic your goals drive our massage therapy treatments. If you’re dealing with an injury, heavy training period or just simply experiencing back pain from long periods of sitting in front of a computer at work, we can help.

Having qualified with a BSC (Hons) Sport and Exercise therapy in 2014 my skills are not limited to just  sport massage, I have a high level of understanding in anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, sports nutrition, advanced manual therapy skills, gait analysis and rehabilitation from injury. I also hold a Level 2 gym instructor qualification. Part of my role at the clinic is to provide rehabilitation.

My interest in Sport therapy came from a young age as my injury prone nature had me seeing therapists regularly. Most of my physical activity is based around my passion for rugby which I play for my local club on a Saturday afternoon. As well as this I enjoy cricket, football and golf.

As well as working in private clinics, I gained experience working for several Rugby clubs providing pitch side injury assessment and treatment.  My interest in sport massage has lead me to volunteer providing Pre – Post event massage and stretching techniques for athletes running the Great North Run.
