Her years of experience give her a specific insight into the journey that leads to injury and the route back to health, as well as the psychological aspects of injury. Marta uses manual therapy and posture techniques and ergonomics, delivered with clear imagery and individual goal-oriented psychology for easy integration into physical or sporting performance.
Marta works very closely with London's leading back and neck pain clinics' Chiropractors and Osteopaths, to efficiently adapt her clinical practice and blend patient treatment with optimal rehabilitation exercises.
Taping and strapping techniques
When injury strikes, the negative effects are mental as well as physical with the fear of re-injury, anxiety on return to sport or work and frustration at our bodies’ failure.
At Sayer Clinics we are aware of this with our years of experience. Marta provides you with a careful explanation and education about the best treatment plan. She gives you the confidence to get back to full function and to feel whole again. But Injuries need time to heal. Taping and strapping techniques give the body time to heal by providing specific sensory information to improve normal function while recovery takes place.
Ergonomic Assessments and Postural Advice
Many musculoskeletal problems are caused by poor posture and incorrect movement patterns. This is particularly evident in people who sit at desks and computers for long hours. Sayer Clinics' excellent Physiotherapists in West End W1, Kensington W8 and City EC2 correct work-station set-up to minimise the stresses on muscles and joints.
