Prior to becoming a chiropractor, Rose worked as a registered general nurse. Although she enjoyed nursing, Rose felt that she could do more to help patients, especially in a more holistic manner. This led to her discovery of chiropractic and a decision to train at the Anglo European College of Chiropractic (AECC) in Bournemouth, where she qualified in 2007.

As Rose says,

"Becoming a chiropractor has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. I thoroughly enjoy helping people of all ages, particularly adults who feel that their aches and pains are age-related, only to discover that chiropractic makes them feel younger and healthier."

Many musicians have regular chiropractic care as they spend long hours in the same position. It was whilst visiting a chiropractor himself that Ross became fascinated with what chiropractic could do. He was so impressed with the help he received that he decided to go back to university and train to be a chiropractor himself. He won a Masters Degree from the Welsh institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan and became passionate about helping people understand the importance of looking after their bodies and in particular, of maintaining correct posture. 

He says:

“It is so important to an individual’s health to correct poor posture. I treat a lot of musicians and give them specific advice on how to adapt their posture. The principles apply to everyone, from children to adults, from active sports people to sedentary office workers and it’s really important to address any problems as early as possible.”

The main inspiration and motivation to wanting to become a chiropractor was through her father. He suffered a disc injury in his late 20's and after having gone backwards and forwards through the medical system, he was told by his GP that he needed surgery. He decided to explore other options first and found a chiropractor instead. The chiropractic adjustments helped improve his health and reduced his back pain very quickly and so surgery could be avoided. 

It made a big impression on Christine having seen her father suffer and seeing the difference that chiropractic made and decided she wanted to become a chiropractor herself.

She completed the 5 year study at the Anglo-European College of Chiropractic (AECC) and was awarded the degree of Master of Chiropractic (MChiro) at the end. She has enjoyed working in clinics in Lowestoft and Norwich where she helped many families in the community.

In her spare time she likes her sports: running, mountain biking, climbing, (wind) surfing and many more. From doing a lot of sports she has developed a special interest in sports injuries and their treatment. 

She also loves treating babies and children as their developing bodies can get under a lot of stress from birth, knocks and falls as toddlers, growth spurts as teenagers and so on.
