Aksel has fixed my arm and back problems over the years. He is very professional and courteous.

I have been to see Aksel once before for a very painful back problem (Sept 2014). He used a very different technique to the practice that I am used to having (my old chiropractor has stopped her clinic so I needed to find another). I must say I was a little sceptical before seeing him the first time, but I walked in bent and out straight in what felt like someone else's body! He is brilliant at sorting the problem, very good at what he does and knows his stuff. I have just come out from my second appointment (Aug 2015) again I went to see him with a back problem, I have not been to another chiropractor since my last visit with Aksel, this time the back problem was caused my a sports injury (15 mins of doing burpies!) again he was very good and the technique he used was very effective. I am sitting in the car outside the clinic and wanted to share this incase your looking for a chiropractor in Harpenden... He's your man, one word... brilliant.

Very good experience, he was on time, straight to sorting the problem out, walked out a little tender but feeling a lot happier and my back is now feeling much better. He used many different techniques to sort the problem and doesn't stop until your satisfied.

I have three slipped discs in my neck. One had a very large protrusion seen on MRI. Years ago I was supposed to have an operation to remove the large protrusion. A friend recommended me to try chiropractic first and specifically told me to go to Aksel Nielsen, who is now at Harpenden Chiropractic Clinic. With his help, I avoided the operation. The pains and symptoms in my neck and arms disappeared. A second MRI a couple of years later showed that the two smaller protrusions had more or less disappeared and the large protrusion had more than halved in size. Also, I suffer from gland issues (underactive glands). When I started chiropractic treatment my gland started to function better. I lost weight and had much more energy. I still have to take medication but much less than I used to take. Also, at times my neck still hurts but it is kept well under control with regular check-up treatments by my chiropractor.
