With over 50 years of combined clinical experience, Wellbeing Clinics can often offer same-day appointments. The clinics are Public Health England (PHE) ‘Covid-19 Compliant’- with procedures in place to keep you safe. WellBeing Clinics is easy to find being centrally located in Derby. Free dedicated parking right outside the door. If using the local buses, major routes run very close by and we are well known to the local taxi companies. You will be welcomed at reception by one of our friendly and approachable receptionists in a warm, airy and modern reception/waiting area. You will be guided through your visit every step of the way. You can be assured that the examination process and diagnostic techniques used at the clinic are extremely thorough. In addition, substantial investment in state-of-the-art equipment means that you can receive a broader scope of treatment methods for your condition.

Accreditations GCC - General Chiropractic Council (UK) BCA - British Chiropractic Association (UK) Premises Parking - FREE. Right outside the door. Parking places have the clinic name on them. Accessible to disabled people - The clinic is over 3 floors. We have a stair lift to move people between floors if they have challenges regarding mobility. Public transport access - Bus stops close by on Uttoxetter and Ashbourne roads. Wheelchair accessible toilet Access without steps Disabled parking - Rarely though is the car park full and so can usually fully open a car door.The car park is completely level. Patient bathroom - Two toilets on the premises for the visitors use. Wireless access - FREE. Code can be obtained from reception.
Clinic services Emergency service - We have sections of our diary set aside for fitting in emergencies. It is rare that we cannot see someone within 24 hrs. At weekends we screen our ansaphone remotely and offer over the phone advice to keep people going untill Monday. Text message reminders

Prenatal Chiropractic Care Our chiropractors are well experienced in the diagnosis and management of prenatal mechanical pains. Our Chiropractors are both male. We say that because in the past a minority of ladies wanted to only be seen by a female Chiropractor. We do however protect your modesty always with the provision of gowns.
It is also worth a note that we have specialised treatment benches that are highly adjustable and so can accommodate pregnant ladies lying comfortably on their fronts!

Sports Chiropractic We regularly treat people who have incurred a sports injury. We utilise however a hands on approach meaning that if what you are looking for is to have modalities used (e.g. ultrasound, laser therapy etc) then we are not the place for you.

Originally from the Isle of Man, Richard chose chiropractic as his career after seeing how much his fathers neck pain and headaches were relieved by treatment from a British Chiropractic Association (BCA) Chiropractor. As soon as he graduated in 1992, he moved to Derby and started practising at a clinic in the city. In 2000 he decided to set up WellBeing Clinics with his colleague Ian Reed. Richard enjoys a game of golf, although most of his spare time is spent with wife Vicky and daughter, Suzannah.

Languages: English Biography: 1992 BSc (Chiropractic) DC (Doctor of Chiropractic) -Born in Cambridge, Ian moved with his family to Devon when he was 7 yrs old and it was there that he grew up. An undiagnosed broken elbow led Ian to seek Chiropractic advice at the age of 18 yrs, where the damage was identified for the first time. This event sparked his interest and, after finding more out about Chiropractic, he decided it was what he wanted to do. Ian joined Richard at the same clinic in Derby in 1993 where they both stayed until starting WellBeing Clinics in 2000. Ian is married and has two children which keep him very busy in his spare time. Ian graduated top of his year with with his degree class ‘distinction’ and won two prizes - best academic student and best clinician.
