Demetrius Evriviades is an NHS Consultant Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon at the New Queen Elizabeth and BMI, The Priory Hospitals, both in Edgbaston, Birmingham. He provides a comprehensive, plastic surgical practice in Birmingham and the Midlands. Demetrius practises all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery, but particularly cosmetic surgery of the face and breast. He holds the FRCS(Plast) Examination and is on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery. He is a Full Member of the British Association of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgeons (BAPRAS) and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons (BAAPS) at the Royal College of Surgeons of England, the governing and representative body for Plastic Surgery in the UK. Demetrius Evriviades was born in Derby and educated at Nottingham High School before attending Liverpool Medical School to read Medicine, graduating MB ChB BSc(Hons) in 1994. He has served in the Royal Air Force Medical Branch since 1992. He trained initially in general practice before surgical training in Portsmouth, Peterborough, Stoke Mandeville and Southampton, qualifying MRCS(Ed) in 2000. After a period of time spent researching new treatments for chemical burns, he went on to complete an intensive training program in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery in the UK and overseas at the prestigious Wharton Centre for Head and Neck Surgery, Toronto qualifying FRCS (Plast) in 2007. During this time he completed Advanced Surgical Fellowships in Cosmetic Surgery, Nasal Surgery, Breast Reconstruction, Eyelid Surgery, and Microsurgery. Demetrius lives in Birmingham with his wife and four young children. He enjoys life drawing, portrait sculpture and trying to keep up with his son at Karate classes.
