Katie Cecil Aesthetics

Katie qualified as a nurse in 2004 after achieving a Bachelor of Nursing honours degree at the University of Wales, College of Medicine, Cardiff. She worked within the NHS at the start of her career but she had always had an interest in cosmetic surgery and aesthetic treatments. After leaving the NHS she became a specialist aesthetics nurse for one of wales' top cosmetic dermatologists. Here she gained the knowledge and skills required to treat a variety of skin types and to decrease the signs of ageing with non-surgical treatments such as dermal fillers, chemical peeling and wrinkle relaxing injections.

With her increasing interest and experience Katie went to work with one of Britains best known cosmetic surgeons in the world famous Harley Street, London. Here she trained with leading surgeons at the Institute of Cosmetic and Reconstructive Surgery becoming a consultant aesthetic nurse gaining a huge knowledge base and becoming a specialist within the field.

After her time in London, Katie came back to cardiff to work for one of the countries leading cosmetic surgery companies. Here she was responsible for up to 25 patients per day, ranging from administering non-surgical treatments to carrying out post-operative care.

Katie then accomplished one of her greatest achivements in becoming an independent nurse prescriber at De Montfort University, Leicester in May 2011. She currently runs her own aesthetics business using her 14 years experience to help her patients achieve a desired outcome. She treats every patient as an individual and provides a professional, confidential consultation and treatment service. She is fully insured and all certificates can be seen prior to treatment.
