Dr Mervyn Patterson, medical director of Woodford Medical, has been working in the field of aesthetic medicine for over twenty years and is one of the foremost, pioneering aesthetic medical practitioners in Europe. Dr Mervyn Patterson has been named in the top ten medical aesthetic doctors in the UK by the Evening Standard and The Daily Telegraph. More recently he was listed in Hello Magazine as “Best in the Business” for anti-wrinkle injections. He is in regular demand as an expert speaker regarding aesthetic procedures at conferences across the UK.

Held in high esteem by his colleagues and clients for his less is more approach to aesthetics, Dr Patterson specialises in the latest injectable anti-ageing treatments including initiating the "Nefertiti Neck Lift" and cheek volumisation. He has taken the “Eight Point Face-Lift”, now so popular in the aesthetic industry for face remodelling, to another level using a cannula for gentle and natural looking volumisation. He is an expert at restoring mid-face structure using HArmonyCa, a dermal filler from Allergan.

Dr Patterson trained in South Korea in PDO threads with some of the world’s leading exponents of thread lift treatments. He is a recognised expert in the field of PDO thread insertion.

In 2018 Dr Patterson was appointed as the Key Opinion leader for NFinders in Europe and has trained a large number of the U.K. medical practitioners that currently use NFinders threads.

Debbie joined the team at Woodford Medical in 2002 following her Beauty training at the Colchester institute. Her skills and in-depth knowledge have earned her a dedicated following of clients who delight in her accurate and effective treatments.

Her highly developed skill-set made her the perfect choice to take on the mantle of advanced trainer for Eden Aesthetics, our sister company. During training sessions she imparts her wealth of knowledge to new clinic owners and their staff so they can achieve the same high standard of practise that she uses with her own clients at Woodford Medical.

As the senior therapist in Cambridge Debbie has built up a successful and busy aesthetic clinic to compliment Dr Allan’s thriving injectable practise.

Kerys qualified in Beauty Therapy at Colchester Institute in 2011.  Kerys furthered her education at Newcastle University in 2013 studying Spa Management to degree level and completed a 14,000 word dissertation on the effects of UV light on the skin.  Whilst at Newcastle University she had in depth training on Agera peels, microdermabrasion, laser hair reduction and microneedling.  She also graduated in 2014 with a further degree in Business Management. Since joining the team at Woodford Medical Kerys has trained further in Fractional 1540 treatments, IR Skin Tightening, IPL Photorejuvenation, Dermafrac treatments and Epionce peels & products.
