Auckland Skin Laser Centre

Dermatologist, Dermatologic Surgeon, Laser Surgeon. LLB (hons)/BCom, MBChB, Dip Obst, FRACP. After initially qualifying in law and commerce then practising for a short time as a barrister and solicitor, he completed his medical training at Auckland University, followed by some years in family medical practice in Nelson. He then returned to Auckland to pursue a postgraduate qualification in general medicine and dermatology, which included postgraduate dermatologic laser and dermatologic surgery training in Glasgow, London and New York. During that time he was fortunate in being at the forefront of developments in the use of modern laser technology in dermatology. He has particular interests and skills in the following areas of dermatology: Laser dermatology and Laser dermatologic surgery. Cosmetic dermatology. Mohs micrographic surgery and general skin cancer surgery. He holds positions and memberships at the following organisations: Fellow Royal Australasian College of Physicians, Member American Academy of Dermatology, Fellow American Society of Lasers in Surgery and Medicine, Member International Dermatologic Surgery Society, Member American Society of Mohs Surgery and Member New Zealand Dermatological Society Incorporated.

Nurse and Aesthetician. She was the founding aesthetic nurse at the Auckland Skin Laser Centre and over the nearly twenty years of clinical experience she has become very experienced in all aspects of skin care treatments, microsclerotherapy, skin laser treatments, IPL and related cosmetic procedures. She has a meticulous record for safety and competence and a very warm and caring manner! She has trained extensively with Dr Le Grice, and has continued to remain at the forefront of skin treatment developments by attending many training programmes and conferences in New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

Nurse specialist. She has been with the Auckland Skin Laser Centre for nearly 14 years and enjoys every minute of it. She works alongside Dr Le Grice during surgical and laser procedures and is involved in the follow up care. With her knowledge of and experience with laser procedures, she is able to expertly deal with the many questions that people often have prior to their procedure. She is the first point of contact if there are any concerns or questions after treatment. She enjoys caring for people and is very friendly and approachable. She regularly updates her knowledge by attending courses and conferences and is also expanding her knowledge of skin care cosmeceuticals.
