Dr Heather Jenkins opened The Skin Lab in April 2010, after working with consultant dermatologist Dr Godfrey Wagner at Brisbanes Terrace Dermatology since 2002, where she performed skin surgery, assessment of skin problems and a wide variety of cosmetic procedures to enhance the appearance and health of the skin.
Dr Jenkins has undertaken extensive laser training and holds a full user license under Queensland Health Radiation Safety Act 1999. She attends regular updates to learn the latest technologies in laser and cosmetic medicine. Dr Jenkins is also a proud member of the Cosmetic Physicians Society of Australia and the Skin Cancer Society of Australia.
Previously, Dr Heather Jenkins worked for 28 years in general practice with a particular interest in the management of skin disease. She graduated in 1981 from Melbourne University, where she gained her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery with honours.

Dr Godfrey Wagner is a consultant dermatologist at Brisbanes Terrace Dermatology; and a visiting dermatologist at Greenslopes Private Hospital, Gympie Private Hospital and the Mater Hospital in Mackay. Dr Wagner graduated with an MBBS from the University of Queensland, travelled and worked extensively in England, obtaining the MRCP (UK). Returning to Australia, Dr Wagner completed the Fellowship of the Australian College of Dermatologists.

Dr Chris Watson graduated with an MBBS in 1998, having trained at University of Queensland. He undertook his junior medical years at Mackay Base Hospital and Gold Coast Hospital, before commencement of his General Practice training. He started his FRACGP training in 2002 and completed in 2007 with a two year break in between whilst undertaking locum General Practice work in The Republic of Ireland.
Dr Watson currently works in General Practice in the Brisbane CBD concentrating on the management of skin disease and skin cancer medicine, and is rapidly increasing his knowledge, skills and expertise working alongside Dr Jenkins in The Skin Lab.
