I went to have my gall bladder removed on the 11th of May 2023 From being picked up at the airport in Wroclaw to the minute I went home I was treated brilliantly the staff and doctors were brilliant the coordinators were excellent The clinic was spotlessly clean the nurses were great and very kind to me and my wife who came with me. I had first-class treatment from the first-class staff, I would definitely recommend it if you need treatment for anything. The cost was a fraction of the cost to have it done in the UK and that was including our airfare and hotel! I chose the clinic by looking at reviews and also because I have been to Poland a few times and know Wroclaw well

Although what has left of the stomach — usually the size of a banana — retains its digestive abilities, the capacity for food intake is reduced. By taking out the portion of the stomach responsible for producing most of the hunger hormone, the feeling of hunger is decreased. Hence, the surgery affects the body’s metabolism. Amazing service throughout. pre-surgery, surgery and post-surgery. Spotless clinic. You are picked up from the airport and taken straight to clinic, no waiting around, everything runs like clockwork so less time for nerves or anxiety to kick in. No need to be nervous though as you really are in the best hands and will not be disappointed at all. Dr Łukasz Warchoł is an absolute gent. He really is amazing at what he does, and I would highly recommend him or any of the surgeons for that matter. Amazing aftercare with nurse visits everyday and even back home the rep is still on hand with any questions or worries you may have. Everyone in clinic speaks very good English so no need to worry about the language barrier either. Couldn't recommend this clinic enough.

We use the ORBERA Managed Weight Loss System. You are sedated, and doctors guide a thin, soft balloon down your throat and into your stomach. The balloon is filled with saline until it is about the size of a grapefruit. The procedure normally takes about 20 to 30 minutes. After six or twelve months, the balloon is emptied and removed.
