Having researched lots of hospitals and surgeons in Europe, I decided to choose Bariatric surgeon Dr Sohaib at Shifa international hospital Islamabad Pakistan as a surgeon he has gone above and beyond everything, I ever would have expected. I found him very professional and most importantly very approachable and all my questions were answered promptly. I was very nervous and Dr Sohaib made me feel very comfortable before surgery and all precautions were taken to minimise risks of infection. I would highly recommend Dr Sohaib to anyone considering bariatric surgery. I had gastric sleeve surgery with Dr Sohaib on 21st Oct 2020. The hospital is beautiful, the staff are friendly and attentive and Dr Sohaib is just lovely. My lovely nurse Ruhbab and care team on The ward could not be kinder, always there and able to help however small the issue. I had no complications after surgery as the aftercare was to a very high standard. I am currently 3 weeks post-op and I have already lost 17kg and my journey has only just begun!
