My gastric sleeve surgery has been now one month ago and I couldn't be happier, I lost already 10kg so far and my weight keeps dropping.

It is now one month after i had surgery, i feel happy energized and healthy, everything went just absolutely great and my little surgery scars(which are only only two 1 cm long stripes) a nearly not seeable anymore.

Why did i choose to have a gastric sleeve surgery?

First of all many people in my family are very obese and of course got very strong health problems from it. I was always afraid that I would one day reach the same point where I am so obese that I wouldn't be able to live a normal life anymore and also would get serious health problems from it.

Since I was 10 years old I suffered from being overweight.

I always ate large portions and I found my self needed up to 3 times as much food as my friends to feel full.

I tried all the "magical diets", and I failed at all of them, it was almost like i could not stop my weight constantly climbing up the scale.

Depressed, unhappy, ashamed and desperate With my highest weight of 101 kg at a height of 170cm I realized I was going to become extremely obese if I just keep on ignoring my weight.

- I changed my diet into a healthy vegan diet and did sports everyday( at least 1h up to 3 h)
-I went down to 78kg

by going to the extreme and raw vegan fruits I managed to get as low as 74kg (i still ate extremely large portions( of raw food))

But at the end I couldn't keep up with this lifestyle anymore, I was so obsessed with weight loss I had no friends an no normal social activities besides weight loss.

- I started to a normal mostly healthy vegan diet

- Constantly overeating made me gain back until I was at 90 kg again

I was always sure that the gastric sleeve surgery would literately save me.
That it would finally free me from thinking about food 24/7 and stopping me from having the need to be overeating all the time.
I was sure that it could save me From becoming obese again from becoming sick and unhealthy for the rest of my life.

And what should I say the gastric sleeve DID save me!

I feel so happy today, I actually feel like I am a normal human with normal eating habits for the first time in my life. I can now enjoy a small portion of food and feel happy and satisfied afterwards. I never have to feel guilt anymore. I am never afraid of going on the scale. In fact every time I step on the scale and see another 300 grams just fell of of me, I feel like the happiest person i ever felt.

I had a Gastric Sleeve Surgery 14 months ago with Dr. Ahmed Bravo. Have lost 84 Kg of my extra weight and still losing. I am so happy that I made this surgery.

I used to weight 122 kg and I was desperate, trying out many popular diets, loosing weight for some time and then gaining back again.I made a research on Internet about bariatric surgery and decided to contact Dr. Bravo Bariatric and Weight Loss Center in Egypt. From the first moment, I felt professionalism in every aspect. We made an appointment according to my schedule ( I came from Germany). Everything was perfectly organized, representative was waiting for me at the Cairo International Airport, drove me to the Hotel which was also booked by Dr Bravo Center. My surgery was finished in less than 90 minutes, and already after 2 hours I was slowly walking around. I spent one night after surgery at clinic, in very clean private room with nurse. Next day I was resting and relaxing in my hotel room.
For next three days Dr Bravo Center organized for me the Cairo sightseeing. I felt just normal, like I came as a tourist, not as a patient.
On day six, I went to final check before travelling back to Germany.
