The Brisbane Bariatric Centre is a Greenslopes-based surgical clinic with a holistic approach to obesity treatment and a heavy emphasis on patient-centred care. The team have a well-founded understanding of obesity stigma and its consequences, and so, endeavour to create a non-judgemental, compassionate environment throughout the entirety of your treatment. The staff go above and beyond to ensure your surgery booking process is easy and understandable, and to provide all relevant information so that you can make the best informed decisions about your health and care plan.
Dr. Justin Greenslade prefers to focus on effective long-term weight loss solutions, as opposed to temporary fixes. He offers the Roux-en-Y gastric bypass and laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, along with a range of general surgical procedures, such as laparoscopic fundoplication for the treatment of reflux, gallbladder removal, and hernia repair. Dr Greenslade does not offer the “mini-bypass”, endoscopic sleeve, lap band or balloon procedures.
All patients have access to unlimited bulk-billed follow-up appointments with their surgeon, even years down the line, and are encouraged to make use of those for at least 12 months following a bariatric procedure to ensure a smooth adjustment.
