My name is Estelle, I am a registered acupuncturist and qualified Chinese Medicine Practitioner in East Grinstead where I run my privately based acupuncture and massage practice, La Pagode (French for pagoda).
After three years, full time training at the prestigious International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM), accredited by the Greenwich University, I was awarded a degree with BSc (Hons) in Chinese Medicine and a licence in acupuncture (Lic Ac). The course also provided a comprehensive training in Western Medicine (anatomy, physiology, pathology and psychology).
I am a full member of The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC), approved by the professional standards authority for health and social care and I adhere to their strict codes of ethics, safe practice and professional conduct. I am fully insured by The BAcC.
As a general practitioner of Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, I am qualified to treat a wide range of conditions, tailoring my treatment method from patient to patient with the different tools that oriental medicine offers (stems and branches, the five element theory, the 6 divisions, the eight principals, traditional Chinese medicine).
I continue to enhance my skills and knowledge through continuing professional development (CPD) and various therapies. I am fully qualified in facial enhancement cosmetic acupuncture, including micro-needle therapy (Derma roller) for men and women. I am also qualified in massage therapy (ITEC Level 3) and practicetherapeutic Swedish massage which I can combine with acupuncture or apply on its own.
As a Reiki practitioner, I will also use this healing therapy in a free way during a treatment depending on the needs of the patient.
