qualified at the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in the UK, with a first class honours degree.
I decided to embark on a career in acupuncture having experienced its benefits as a patient. I had come to acupuncture treatment after exhausting other options and found that not only did it cure my condition, it also helped with my overall sense of well-being.
It was also my own positive personal experience with acupuncture used on children that spurred my interest in the use of acupuncture for childhood illnesses. Because of this passion I am currently undertaking a post graduate diploma in paediatric acupuncture which will further enhance my skills in treating children.
I am a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAcC) which is the largest regulatory body for practitioners of traditional acupuncture in the UK. The BAcC maintains high standards of education, ethics, discipline and practice. Its aim is to ensure the health and safety of the public at all times. I am bound by the strict professional codes of conduct and safe practice as stipulated by the BAcC.
I am fully insured and my premises, at Fiveways Acupuncture in Brighton, has been inspected by the local council environmental health officer.
