About Christine MacFie Acupuncture Therapy

Having practiced in the Sussex for several years, last year I moved to the West Country and set up my own acupuncture clinic, located in a lovely country setting close to Weston-super-mare, not far from J21 of the M5. It's on the ground floor in a quiet, self contained house and has plenty of onsite parking. Clients have commented on the location and enjoy the fact that my clinic is not in a large multi-practitioner treatment facility, which can be a bit impersonal and noisy, they find it restful instead and a pleasant place to come and experience acupuncture.

I have never tried acupuncture before so was a bit apprehensive but Christine is so professional and caring, she put me at ease straight away. I was suffering extreme symptoms of the menopause and also pain and swelling with my arthritic knees. The hot flushes virtually ceased immediately after the first session and it took a few more sessions before my knees were better. I feel so much more energised, my sleep has improved and I feel like I’ve been re-programmed! I’ve even managed to lose a bit of weight. I will continue going for maintenance sessions, I visit Christine at The Triangle as it is convenient for me.

Ann has responded very well to acupuncture and saw an immediate improvement to her hot flushes and various other symptoms, with a more gradual improvement to her knee pain. Maintenance treatments are to help ensure that the progress made continues and that Ann remains in good health and wellbeing.

Christine has been treating me for several months for fibromyalgia. She has improved my quality of life incredibly and I would highly recommend her. She is very knowledgeable and explains exactly what she is doing and why.

A first acupuncture consultation and treatment session takes up to 80 minutes and costs £55.  Follow-up sessions are for 1 hour and cost £45.  Following a thorough diagnostic process that includes taking a detailed health history, examining you physically as needed, looking at your tongue and taking your pulses on both wrists, I'll then formulate your individualised treatment plan and insert appropriate acupuncture needles gently. Needles remain in place for 20 minutes, giving you an opportunity to relax and enjoy the experience.
