I'm really satisfied with his professional and caring attitude towards his patientsGladys, South Africa, 27 01 20

In my opinion, I believe that my health nightmare days are coming to an end. Dr Sanua is very thorough and patient and willing to get to the root of the problem. I'm really satisfied with his professional and caring attitude towards his patients. I was referred by a friend after I had spoken fo her about an opp I had to remove fibroids and how I'm still struggling with the same problem during my periods.

Acupuncturist Consultation R450 - R590
Acupuncture is medical system which originated in China and dates back over 2500 years. In the west, it is often believed that acupuncture is the basis of Traditional Chinese Medicine treatment. Although it is a highly effectively procedure, it is a subsidiary component of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). A qualified TCM doctor will be the best person to decide which treatment is indicated based on TCM diagnostics. Acupuncture involves the insertion of very fine, single use, stainless steel needles into specific points in the body which re-establish health, by rectifying the bodies own self healing mechanisms. Needles are left in for approximately 25 minutes. Each session the doctor assesses changes that have occurred and a new point prescription is used. Depending in the presenting condition, patients generally receive a course of acupuncture treatments.
Fertility Acupuncture R450 - R690
Dr Coucoumbros is particularly involved in and interested in fertility and gynaecological issues. Chinese Medicine treatment for fertility is non-invasive. It involves the prescription of individualized herbal formulae, acupuncture, relaxation exercises, as well as lifestyle and dietary guidance. Herbal medicine is taken daily and the patient is required to return for weekly, fortnightly or monthly acupuncture treatments. Research suggests an increased numbers of live births among IVF patients receiving acupuncture, than those not. Interestingly a number of IVF clinics in the America consider acupuncture a standard treatment for their IVF patients.
Dry Needling R380 - R450
Dry needling is a technique which involves the insertion of fine sterile needles into various trigger points and muscles in the body which causes the muscles to relax. It is widely used by physiotherapists and chiropractors and should not be confused with acupuncture which is an entirely different medical system altogether. Acupuncture points are chosen along channels based on Chinese Medicine diagnostics and theoretical applications. Points very are seldom targeted at one specific spot as with dry needling, as the body is interconnected and hence is treated as such.
