My name is Mary Dolan Watters and I gained my licentiate in Acupuncture from The College of Medical Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (CMATCM) in Ireland. I am a member of the Acupuncture Council of Ireland, members of the ACI are approved by Aviva, VHI, Laya Healthcare and HSA for Out-Patient insurance purposes.
After graduating, I worked in China at the Shuguang Hospital in Shanghai, which is affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine. There I spent my clinical internship training under Professor Lee, one of the most prominent, well researched and revered Chinese acupuncturists of our time.
In 2008, I opened Ballinasloe Acupuncture and Natural Health Clinic where I continue to gain extensive experience treating a wide range of issues.
Constantly expanding my knowledge and expertise I have undertaken further training and qualifications in fertility (which I have a particular interest in), pain relief, stress relief, cosmetic acupuncture and paediatric acupuncture.
In addition, I have a diploma in Natural Nutrition studying under Barbra Wren in London, using food as our medicine and giving our bodies and minds what they need to heal, repair and be the best that they can be a great gift.
