I went to Olivia from week 36 of my pregnancy to prepare for labour and try and avoid being induced. I found Olivia extremely helpful and interesting as she talked me through the whole process. I'm delighted to report that I went into labour labour naturally and delivered a healthy baby girl 5 hours after my contractions started and I definitely believe the acupuncture helped.

I started to see Olivia in early 2014 for fertility reasons. My partner and I had been trying unsuccessfully for a few years. I had all the tests done through the the hospital, I had an operation also to help with ovarian cysts which made no difference. I was told at the age of 30 to start looking into IVF. This didn't sit well with me, I felt I was too young for such invasive treatment, I felt that I was being passed from pillar to post in the medical world with no one giving me a concrete answer or solution. I decided to look into acupuncture and found Olivia through a Google search.

I can say with all confidence that picking up the phone and calling Olivia was the best decision I have ever made. Initially, it was just so fantastic to finally understand what was going on with my body. Olivia is extremely thorough (and chatty! :) ) and explains exactly what it is that's happening in your system. Everything began to make sense. Other health issues that I'd previously thought were unrelated I began to understand we're all interconnected.
Although the treatment is a commitment and results sometimes aren't instantaneous, over time I began to see results in my whole body. Like a domino effect, everything began to improve. Apart from a more regular cycle, my whole system was healing itself.
15 months later I'm expecting the birth of our first baby any day now. I can 100% say that I don't think this would've been possible without Olivia's help.
Despite weekly visits, the cost has still only been a fraction of what IVF would have cost us. I feel like we really got to the root of what was going on rather than a "one treatment suits all" approach western medicine takes.
I think back to that day where i decided on a whim to give Olivia a call and feel incredibly blessed that I did. I couldn't recommend her any more highly.

My journey into acupuncture began when my husband and I were trying to conceive. After some consultations with different doctors, fertility tests and a recommendation to have IVF I decided to explore a more natural approach to our dilemma as I didn't feel ready to have IVF treatment.
After one year I fell pregnant and now have a beautiful baby girl. I would recommend this treatment combined with Western medical methods.
I did find it expensive as I would have at least 4 sessions per month at E50 per session. However, in the grand scheme of things it did help and support me throughout my difficult journey.

I never had received this type of treatment before and was a little anxious on my first visit as I have a healthy fear of needles. On my first visit I immediately felt at ease and reassured. The treatment itself was painless and although I did not feel immediate results I did feel much more relaxed and positive. As my treatments increased though there was an obvious physical affect which I found reassuring.

I cannot recommend Olivia and her work highly enough. Her approach is professional, her knowledge is extensive and, after being a bit of a cynic when it comes to Chinese medicine, she has completely convinced me of its benefits!

I went to see olivia emmett for fertility acupuncture after doing some research on the internet as i was having troulble trying to concieve. As soon as i met olivia i knew i had came to the right place. Not only was she a very warm and down to earth person she explained the treatment brilliantly which i found excellent. Every question i had she could answer as her knowledge in fertility and accupuncture is excellent. I would leave each treatment feeling very relaxed, informed and also confident that the treatment would be a success. Within three months i fell pregnant and i continued to see olivia until i reached my 12th week of pregnancy. I would highly recommend olivia for acupuncture and would definitely see her again if i need to.

I visited Olivia a few years ago as I was suffering from stress and anxiety and I could not believe how much better I felt after just one session. I went weekly for a number of months and feel so much better, I now go every now and then to keep an eye on my health. I was delighted with the very friendly and comprehensive treatment I received for PCOS. Olivia was very knowledgeable and understanding of the condition. I was treated as a whole person, so everything was taken into account not just the PCOS.

When I started my treatment with Olivia, I was only having six periods in a year, by the time I finished my treatment, I had regular monthly periods. I have since been pregnant, and I have a very healthy baby boy.
