Deirdre is also a fully qualified Chinese Herbalist and has a special interest in the area of women's health including gynecology, fertility, pregnancy and IVF and has completed a post-graduate diploma in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Gynaecology and Obstetrics and is a an Associated Practitioner of Women's Natural Health Practice. She has also trained in Master Tung's Magic point Acupuncture, Dr. Tan's Balance Method, Abdominal Acupuncture, Auricular Acupuncture, Cosmetic Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Tui Na (Chinese medical massage).
Conditions treated include gynecological disorders, fertility both male and female, pregnancy, IVF support, acute and chronic back pain, allergies, depression, anxiety, insomnia, headaches and migraines, post-operative pain, digestive disorders, eye diseases, skin disorders, the inability to stop smoking and allergies, cosmetic facial rejuvenation and much more.
Deirdre trained with the Acupuncture Foundation in Ireland completing her studies in Acupuncture, Chinese Herbal Medicine and Tui Na (Chinese medical massage).She completed further training and study in Nanjing University of Chinese Medicine and trained in the Governmental Hospital of Nanjing in the Jiang Su Province of China under Dr. Ouyang, specialist in Scalp Acupuncture, neurological disorders, trauma and stroke victims.
Deirdre is a member if A.F.P.A. (Acupuncture Foundation Profession Association). Acupuncture treatments are approved and reimbursable by many healthcare insurance providers.
