Mr Jonathan Orchard
Specialisations: Massage Therapy Biography: Having been trained by the International Sivananda Vedanta Centre, Jonathan has been teaching yoga since the mid 1990’s. He is also a qualified holistic massage therapist. Using his relaxed yet professional style, combined with a sense of fun and friendliness, Jonathan brings out the best in both beginners and advanced students alike. During his classes, Jonathan encourages his students to notice the flow of the breath and to take their time with each asana, being present in the moment.
Jonathan has run holidays in France and Ibiza. After spending time living in California, Jonathan moved to the Findhorn Community in Scotland where he taught for two years. He is now based at a Pilates in Brighton, as well as teaching privately. He continues to develop his music career with songwriting and performance and uses this passion for music and the voice as an instrument to run workshops exploring the Yoga of Sound. He also used this love of entertaining and song to bring yoga to children through song, dance and stories at Kids a Go Go Yoga.
