Excellent treatment from start to finish! At the consultation, we amended my treatment to make it more suitable to myself. A complete explanation of why this would provide more positive results and so I choose to have Smart Lens replacements. Over the next two days I had my surgeries, one eye on each day. No pain at all during the procedure and only minor discomfort afterwards. I was provided with plenty of medication to ease any pain, aid healing and antibiotics as well, all with instructions for use. My coordinator throughout was Batuhan, who answered any queries promptly, whatever time of day - I honestly don’t know when he sleeps! Professional, friendly and amazingly helpful in every contact. I have always had hooded eyelids. About a year ago the hooding became so bad that I knew I had to get my eyes done. It was affecting my vision. I put it off for years because I have seen many people (with the financial resources to get the best work done) whose eyes do not look natural. They look continuously surprised. I ran into so many people that looked like that, that I assumed that was what you looked like after having upper eyelid surgery. I interviewed three doctors before deciding on Dr Elif from Medhera Health Clinic because I was concerned that I wouldn’t look like myself after surgery. My surgery could have been covered by insurance but I chose to pay out of pocket because Dr. Elif is that good! I chose her because she was the most thorough in explaining my procedure and she promised me that my eyes would look natural. The whole experience was seamless. Everyone who works in her office is pleasant, knowledgeable, and competent. You can tell they all love working there and it shows in how they work. Phone calls were returned promptly. They took the time to answer my questions. They sent multiple reminders for appts and were flexible in scheduling. Dr. Elif is a kind, caring doctor. That wasn’t something I required in my surgeon but it amazingly made the whole experience enjoyable. Even the surgery was enjoyable. She played a great musical soundtrack which was relaxing and she explained what she was doing throughout the process. I found that very comforting. Her follow-up after surgery was very thorough and my eyes healed beautifully. I highly recommend going to see her before you make your decision. She is the best at what she does and it shows. I came from Finland for surgery with the doctor. As the surgery would be 1/5 of the price of what I would have to pay in in my own home country. I visited the doctor and he examined me and took the time to do all the proper tests to see if I needed the surgery or not. Turns out I had been misdiagnosed and there was no need for the surgery after all!! Though I did not need surgery, I can 100% recommend the doctor since he could have very easily said oh yeah sure let's do it, and just take my money! Overall the doctor was very professional and I could see that he had a lot of expertise and accumulated knowledge and it felt I could trust him. More than that the doctor’s assistant is amazing, speaks very good English, and provided clear and informed communication along the process. Very thankful for their efforts.

Many clinics have more reviews but of everyone, I contacted, she impressed me the most. Ebru gave me all the information and left the decision with me without any pressure. I had both my eyes done - cataract surgery here with Dr Kumud Raut. This is by far the best eye hospital I have ever been to. I visited two three other places before I was referred here by a friend. Dr Kumud is the best cataract surgeon with most compassionate and loving behaviour towards the patient. I would recommend Raut eye care to anyone wanting not only perfect cataract surgery in Pune but also best humane and friendly loving doctors. All staff is excellent also. Great experience.
