Mr Welck went to Mill Hill School then studied medicine at Leeds University Medical School. During his time there he was awarded a top bursary by PPP healthcare to undertake a research project and an extra degree in Microbiology. He went on to achieve a First Class Honours degree.
He began as a junior doctor in Leeds and York University Hospitals
He then decided to move to London where he was selected for a highly competitive, prestigious post teaching anatomy to medical students at Guys, King’s and St Thomas’s Medical School. During this time, as well as teaching medical students the intricacies of human anatomy, he was honoured to be tutored by the distinguished Professor of Surgery, Professor Harold Ellis.
After this he was selected for surgical training on the Barts and The Royal London Hospital Rotation. This involved positions in Accident and Emergency, General Surgery and Orthopaedics at the Royal Free Hospital, St Barts Hospital and the Royal London Hospital. During this time he was also accepted as a member of the Royal College of Surgeons.
Mr Welck has since specialised in Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgery and was accepted onto the Royal National Orthopaedic Training rotation. During his training he spent some time on the Plastic Surgery Unit at the Royal Free Hospital where he learned valuable skills on facial and soft tissue surgery. Most recently he has been selected as an instructor on Advanced Trauma and Life Support.
Mr Welck has been formally trained in [Treatment name removed], dermal filler and lip enhancement treatments from Medics Direct, a well-renowned and respected UK centre of learning. This has lead to his certification as an Aesthetic Practitioner. Furthermore, he has had training on facial anaesthesia in order to make the treatments as painless as possible. He also has experience of using [Treatment name removed] for surgical as well as cosmetic uses.
