I had my mini gastric bypass in April but unfortunately had some complications. The many many pre-op assessments didn't show anything was wrong. The surgeons saved my life due to their knowledge and experience. This hospital is the most amazing place. It is spotlessly clean with well-trained staff. The nurses attended me every time I needed and they couldn't do enough to ensure I was comfortable. The surgeons came to see me every day and check my health and encourage me when I was down. My husband was with me and he was fed 3 meals a day without fail and he had a comfortable bed beside me. I cannot recommend this hospital enough. I can assure you will get the best treatment from all the staff from surgeons to auxiliary staff. I will definitely be choosing this hospital for skin surgery.

Cannot thank my coordinator Fatih Ozturk enough for all the help, all the arranging, the checking in with me and making sure I'm okay, especially as I travelled alone for my surgery from the UK. Equally I cannot put into words how grateful I am for all the staff at Istanbul obesity academy that have cared for me during my for 4 day stay for my gastric sleeve surgery, they were fantastic and so caring towards me. I was recommended to this clinic by my friend who had used them for her gastric sleeve in September and I'm so glad I went ahead. From start to finish from booking surgery, flights, airport transfers to and from the hospital has all been so smooth.
