Gastric Bypass Antalya Province

My wife has done rhinoplasty in Antalya. And everything in the procedure was good and professional, from our contact person Alexandra, the driver that picked us up, to the Doctor and nurses. A special thanks to Alexandra, that made my nervous wife feel safe through it all, as it can be difficult to come to another country and do this. But everything went smoothly.

What can I say absolutely excellent care from enquiry to the aftercare and support. Irem the care co ordinator saw the whole process through from the very start . Arrived and was collected from the airport and met in person at the hospital by Irem pre operative tests very through bloods, ultrasound, X-ray, echocardiogram, only then cleared for surgery. Irem was there supporting at every step even escorting me to surgery and was there when I returned to my room. Hospital was spotless and medical staff very competent and skilled. Surgeon was available to answer questions and reassure. Nutrition support ongoing. My experience has been excellent.

I would wholeheartedly recommend AYT Clinic. I am just back after having a gastric sleeve. From the moment I arrived at airport until I was on plane home I was looked after so well, probably much much better than at back home. The team are wonderful in reassuring you and answering all your queries. My Co-ordinator was called Asli, she was such a lovely lady so helpful in everything I asked. I had my pre-op tests and surgery without any complications and the surgeon was a lovely man too. The hospital clean and nurses could not do enough for you and looked after me wonderfully. Everything went smoothly. Medhera's doctor amazing at his talent. All the nurses and coordinator amazing literally can’t fault. I felt relaxed. All professional, and I would recommend 100%. I have 127 kilos before surgery on October 19th, and now I have 95 kilos. I'm very happy since my surgery. I also recommended my friend from the UK, and she had the surgery on October 13, 2023, and she is really happy. I highly recommend."

I am very happy that I chose this clinic. The staff is incredible, and you feel taken care of. Everything felt professional, very thorough sampling and testing. The staff speak excellent English, and if any of them weren't quite sure, they used an app for translation. if I have to find something that could be better, I would have liked the hospital to have more adaptation for patients in particular, e.g. handles on the wall in the bathroom, disabled toilet and shower. I would have also liked a walking chair to use for the first few days. it is important to get up and moving and I could have done that faster with a walking chair. Incredibly good that my friend got to stay in my room and also get several meals a day, included in the price. I would also have liked a little faster refilling of painkillers in the first few days, then I would have gotten on my feet faster. I travelled from Sweden and the clinic had transfer from and to the airport, included in the price. I really recommend this clinic!

The treatment is very good at this hospital. Everything was pretty straightforward from pick up and transfer to the hospital. Provided good pain relief. The hotel was good, fairly quiet. Nice and clean. Food was also ok.

I couldn’t recommend Dr Suleyman Akilli enough. He was a brilliant surgeon, he did such thorough tests prior to the operation and picked up I needed a blood transfusion before the surgery went ahead as well as after, something that had been missed in the UK! All the nurses are really caring and his PA was always on hand to speak to and the transfer to and from the hospital is five-star. I am three stone down in 7 weeks and so looking forward to seeing more results. Dr Suleyman keeps in touch after the surgery to check on progress and always responds to any questions. Anyone who is on the fence debating whether to have this surgery, just do it, I wish I had sooner, you won’t regret it! Thank you for changing my life! 🩵

Where do I start with new me health? Absolutely fantastic from start to finish. I visited New Me Health to have a gastric sleeve from the UK. Before I visited I was dealing with Dr. Mani who was very reassuring and very informative. 2 of my sisters and my dad had previously been for surgery with the new me and all had fantastic treatment. When I arrived in Turkey our personal driver was waiting to take us to the hospital so no waiting around. Arrived at the hospital and began my pre-op. I have never had so many checks which I found really reassuring they check absolutely everything. The coordinator took you from check to check then once all was good and given the go-ahead I was due to have surgery the next day. The coordinator then advised a restaurant for us to eat at and took us there again a lovely gesture. The nurses and staff were fantastic following surgery supporting you with pain relief checking wounds etc the surgeons and dietitians were coming in and checking at all times talking me through everything. The dietian Irmak was fantastic! Her knowledge and explanation of things made me feel so at ease and gave me a great understanding of how I needed to move forward following surgery. You leave with a huge bag of vitamins and bits and bobs that you need so no need to rush to buy anything. This surgery is a lot different to most in Turkey others that just want your money, the new me health is the total opposite and made me feel like they genuinely cared about me. If you are thinking about the gastric sleeve surgery but are hesitant then I really would recommend New Me Health Clinic, I am now 13 weeks post-op and 4 stone down which is more than I can ever imagine and that was without a Liver reduction diet before. Irmak still checks in with me now again something that is superb. Thank you to the new me health clinic for changing my life!

It’s been a month since me and my mom had our gastric bypass surgery by Dr. Tahir. Surgery went well, and so far we didn’t have any struggles with our health. The recovery is going well. All thanks to Dr. Tahir!
