About Mary Hamill Counselling & Psychotherapy Templeogue
Qualified support and treatment for all areas of psychological distress. All clients are guaranteed confidentiality, compassion and a non-judgemental space. I work on a One-to-One basis within a therapeutic relationship where both client and therapist interact as equals. I provide both short-term and long-term therapy, as required.
Everyday life events can sometimes cause unforeseen difficulties. A focused, short-term therapy can provide support and a fresh perspective to help understand and cope with the impact of life changes.
Long-term therapy provides an opportunity to address more enduring or repetitive problems that impact on our ability to thrive. These often arise from unconscious processes and require the presence of another to bring to our awareness for resolution to occur.
I qualified as an Integrative Psychotherapist from DBS with a BA(Hons). This degree included a range of psychotherapies that allow me to tailor fit the therapy to meet the need of each individual. Theoretical approaches included CBT, Person-centered, Attachment & Loss, Trauma & Childhood Trauma, Psychodynamics, Existential and Family Systems.
Therapy is available for the following:
Anxiety and GAD
Depression
Bereavement
Family relationships
Borderline Personality Disorder
Communications
Abuse including Sexual Abuse

PTSD
Unresolved Childhood Issues
