We look forward to welcoming you to Mid West Physiotherapy.  We listen, we care, and we will do our very best to help you to achieve your recovery goals.  Mid West Physiotherapy is a private chartered physiotherapy practice.  The clinic was established in 2009 by Donnacha Ryan, Chartered Physiotherapist, with the purpose of delivering top-quality patient care using the best evidence-based treatments.  In 2012, the practice expanded when Munster Sports Physiotherapy merged with us.  The clinic now has three chartered physiotherapists, each of whom has achieved Masters qualifications, and specialise in a number of niche areas.  Our team is dedicated to helping you to feel better and recover faster, so that you can enjoy a greater quality of life. This Physiotherapy and Sports Injuries Clinic belongs to Chartered Physiotherapist Peter Keane.It is conveniently located at the Ballinakill Shopping Centre on the Dunmore Road Waterford.There is ample free parking and disabled access to the clinic on the ground floor. A full comprehensive assessment,treatment and rehabilitation program is provided and sessions usually last for about 45 minutes to 1 hour.Peter has been in practice at the clinic since 1995 and has vast experience in assessing and  treating all types of soft tissue and structural problems that can affect the human body. Apart from his physiotherapy practice, he has worked with GAA and Rugby clubs.His main approach to assessing and treating problems is with Manual Therapy.A hands on approach which involves specific manual techniques for straight forward and more complex problems that may occur.State of the art equipment and facilities are incorporated at the clinic to treat every condition.Conditions treated at the clinic include orthopaedic conditions, soft tissue injuries, overuse injuries, neurological injuries like nerve damage and strokes, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis,sports injuries and orthotic prescriptions/insoles. Electrotherapy, ultrasound, interferential and laser therapy are also used as part of treatment techniques.

Aine O'Meara is a Chartered Physiotherapist who graduated from University College Dublin with a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) degree .She completed a Diploma in Higher Health Care in U.C.D and is a licensed Acupuncturist. Aine has also completed numerous post graduate courses in Manual therapy, Sports therapy and Women's health. Aine is also qualified in Deep dry needling and Orthotic prescription. Raheen Physiotherapy and Sports Injury Clinic was opened in Oct by Aine O Meara and is located near Raheen Church on the Ballycummin Road. Cormac O'Shea is a Chartered Physiotherapist. He graduated from Kings College London and went on to spend years working within the NHS in London, alongside part time work with Crystal Palace football club. Cormac completed his undergraduate degree in Sport and Exercise Science, prior to his Masters Degree in Physiotherapy . Post graduation Cormac has completed APPI pilates courses, he is a qualified Yoga teacher and has completed courses in Dry Needling, Mulligans Manual Therapy techniques and Neuro Orthopaedic Institute courses. He is a keen soccer player, trail runner and all around outdoor enthusiast. Cormac recognises the importance of not only providing symptom relief but encouraging life long health and wellbeing.
