It is often recommended for individuals experiencing severe pain, athletes and those who have sustained injury.  Pregnancy Massage uses soothing oils to relax and support a woman during her pregnancy. Regular massages will benefit circulation, reduce swelling, improve respiration, reduce shoulder tension and relieve musculo-skeletal pain, particularly in the back and pelvic area. Regular treatments throughout the pregnancy have shown to help promote a successful labour and lead to more effective post-natal recovery. Orthopaedic Massage is a style of massage influenced by Chinese Medicine. It relies on applying gentle pressure to the body in a gentle and soothing motion. It can be received with clothes on, and it works very well on freeing up injured or tense muscles by gently breaking down blockages, scar tissue and/or adhesions.

I chose this clinic because I’d attended it years ago and was familiar. I didn’t get the results I wanted because you have to have multiple sessions before it’s effective. The treatment, as well as the Chinese herbs, are very expensive. I have a few medical conditions I was treating with the acupuncture. I think I went for four half-hour sessions at the clinic. The herbs didn’t really agree with me. However, I was treated very well and enjoyed my experience there.
