Sapphire Hair Transplant Turkey

My advice for anyone in the UK (or elsewhere for that matter) is to ignore the expensive and glitzy Harley Street, celebrity surgeries & the many new “budget” clinics appearing around London & get your hair transplant done by the professionals at Hairneva in Istanbul. Before my procedure, I did extensive research & contacted several clinics in Istanbul & actually visited one of the budget clinics here in London (which was horrendous)! Hairneva where not only one of the quickest and most detailed in their responses to my many questions prior to choosing my clinic, but from the moment of 1st contact to seeing me out the door on day 2, Sevil (my contact at Hairneva) was nothing short of exceptional & looked after my every need. Be in no doubt, a hair transplant is NOT a minor procedure akin to having a hair treatment injection, my procedure took almost 11 hours and the fact alone that Hairneva carry out all their procedures in an actual hospital should elevate them on to anyone’s shortlist. The hospital is private, upmarket & professional. Before my procedure, I was given a full blood test, blood pressure & health check (all very reassuring). Back to the Hairneva team & what can I say! Whilst I didn’t see Dr Öztürk in person during my stay, the entire team were professional, courteous and polite. Nothing was rushed & everyone new precisely what they were doing. As stated, my procedure took 11 hours and at one point after I started to feel a bit faint (you are lying down for a very long time) I was offered a break and served a meal despite the time being 9.30pm. The entire procedure never once felt rushed and the reassuring Sevil stayed throughout – in fact we were the last ones to leave the Hospital at 11.30pm! For anyone not familiar with Istanbul, Sevil arranged all my transportation including the return trip to the airport. All in all, any nerves I had about having my procedure done abroad were negated by the professionalism of the team and their attention to detail. Best of all, I had my transplant done for roughly the same price as that quoted by that horrendous budget clinic in London which operated (literally!) above a shop! The difference in service & surroundings could not have been more glaring! I’m now in month two following my procedure – the donor area has completely healed (no gaps) & as predicted the transplanted new hair has shed and there is just a hint of new growth underneath. I’ll make my final judgement in a few months’ time but thanks to the Hairneva team even at this frustrating stage in the process I am 100% confident that by this time next year, I’ll once again have a full head of hair. In summary, I could not recommend Hairneva enough, especially for anyone like myself who is extremely conscious about their hair and a little daunted by having it done abroad - what I thought would be a nightmare experience, in reality, turned out to be a lovely Istanbul break with the added bonus of having a professional hair-transplant whilst I was there! All I had to do was show up. Thank you Hairneva team and special thanks to Sevil for making it all that little bit easier all around. 5 stars.

I choose Doctor Bircan after researching for a while because I read lots of scary stories online. I was welcomed at the airport and they transported me to my hotel. Operation day was great, hotel and the hospital was pretty close like 2-3 minute walking distance. The hospital was top class I believe its an international hospital. The team and the doctor seem extremely professional and they treated me great. My operation was fue method 4200 grafts and the operation took about 6-7 hours total and I honestly didn't feel any pain or anything. After the surgery Emir briefed me about what should I do and what to avoid. Next day they washed my hair and informed me about the coming days. I asked the Doctor for some hair medications but he recommended me an all-natural care package. So far everything looks great, I would recommend Doctor Bircan to everyone. If you are thinking of going to Turkey for hair transplant I hope this review helps you.
