Had an excellent visit to Mike Powell and his team. From the first contact on the phone with the reception could not have been a nicer dental visit! Having moved to the area and no luck finding an appointment with dentist suggested by neighbours I googled nearby dentists. Some I rang were extremely unhelpful and abrupt. Briercliffe had great reviews and decided to go for it although it is a bit of a journey to them. Am very glad I did.

Dr Powell put me at ease and felt he was very thorough in the examination for my first patient consultation and explained his findings clearly. He gave me a detailed printout of my treatment plan and will be back to see hygenist shortly. Very covid secure. Highly recommend.

I am a very anxious patient and can absolutely recommend Dr Mike Powell and his wonderful welcoming team. I had to have treatment today and was really afraid. I need not have been. What I thought would be an unpleasant treatment was, in fact, not as bad as I thought it would be. Mike and his Nurse were so calm, kind and reassuring and I can't praise them enough. The environment is warm, calm and welcoming and above also very Covid safe. Fears just melt away, any doubts dissolve and patients are reassured by the extremely kind and friendly receptionists waiting to greet you.

I am a reluctant dental patient. A friend recommended Mike Powell, which gave me the confidence to attend his practice. On my visit, the stall was kindly & the dentist exceptionally thorough. He commented on all aspects of my dental story, asked me what I wanted from my treatment & carried out necessary Xrays & examinations. I tremble at the cost of my treatment but I feel l have put myself in good hands.

I started Invisalign to straighten my teeth 12 months ago at BRDP, Burnley. At the age of 54, that wasn’t an easy decision to make and now I am nearly at the end of treatment. I am thoroughly enjoying the experience and really happy with the outcome. I wish I had this treatment sooner. It’s never too late to transform your smile.

Our family have been with this dental practice since 2002. Dr. Powell and the team are very friendly and we always feel comfortable on our visits. Very professional and reliable top class dental practice!

I went in to Briercliffe Road Dental Practice in Burnley to enquire about invisalign. I had the initial check up where everything was explained to me and then referred to their hygienist as my previous dentists had never suggested that I see one. There were some issues like acid wear and my gums were in bad health which were all explained to me and i was given all the advice i needed from measuring me for inter-dental brushes and how to clean my teeth properly. I now have invisalign braces as my teeth and gums are much more healthy; overall, I believe the services they offer are very much worth the money i pay.

The staff are wonderful and always make me feel at home. They are so lovely i actually look forward to going to the dentists and appreciate things being explained to me. e.g. any problems with my teeth or what they are going to do next from scaling to polishing. They always have a smile on their face and i know i am in good hands when i go in :)

Had half a front tooth replaced much faster than I could have expected elsewhere, it's extremely difficult to tell where the original tooth ends and replacement beings. Excellent work in my opinion.

WOW, Well what can you say. Mike really knows his stuff and his vast knowledge puts you at ease everytime regarding any treatment you need. I had not been to the dentist for over four years ( I know slap wrist) and needed some dental work doing including an extraction. The whole process from entering the building with a great smile from friendly reception teams, to the actual process which was explained to me all the way through.

I would highly recommend Mike and his team if you are thinking of invisalign. In the twelve months of treatment I received Mike has put me at ease and made every step of the way enjoyable. Before stepping foot in the practice twelve months ago I was terrified of going to the dentist. Now I enjoy going and I haven't once felt anxious or panicked like I have at other dentists. I wish I had found them years ago!

I wish we'd known about Briercliffe years ago. The staff have shown so much kindness & professionalism towards my very lively son & I feel confident that they will give him the dental care he deserves, which previous private & nhs dentists have failed to. However, the icing on the cake was the filling I had today using the 'wand' anaesthetic. Completely & utterly painless with hardly any numbness afterwards. A huge metal filling was removed & replaced with a lovely white one & I felt nothing! Am even considering having the others replaced even though there's no dental need (would just look nice!) and I would never have imagined planning non essential dental care.

I would recommend Mike & his team to anyone, but especially to anyone who finds dental treatment a little bit scary & anyone with a child who can be a bit of a handful at the dentist.
