Temporary Crown Spain

We spend part of each winter in Spain, near Mijas Costa. We started using Crooke Dental several years ago when my wife lost part of a filling. They were able to perform a temporary repair but it was obvious that the tooth was not going to last. In the end, we opted for an implant which was done at about half the cost we would have to pay in Canada. In addition, my insurance company paid half. The COVID-19 epidemic put paid to our 'Spanish winter' and this year was the first time back since then. And I bit on something hard in my tapas and I felt my tooth come loose. I immediately called Crooke Dental and they saw me the next day. The dentist was the one I had seen when I was last there (2017). She checked the tooth and it was so loose that it came out with a tug. As before I was impressed by their expertise, their modern equipment, and their wonderful attitude and kindness.

I was recommended in my home country to undertake an all-in-six treatment. I happened to discuss the recommendation with a friend (Thomas S) who undertook this treatment with Smart Dental in Andalusia a few months back. I would say that I am a conservative person and that I wouldn't instinctively do dental work abroad. I must admit I was very curious by my friend's feedback. I still looked online a few other clinics in Benalmadena. I'm not sure why I did this... still, I think I was naturally attracted by fancy deals and low prices. I had short calls with a few clinics and was unfortunately pressured to make quick decisions, that the deals wouldn't last, that I would lose all my teeth etc.. I just started losing confidence and trust, especially as I wasn't keen on doing dental abroad. My wife inquired on my behalf to gather initial information on the procedure steps and scheduled a zoom call with the clinic director and surgeon. I must say that I had an excellent first impression. Mrs. diana, Mrs. Carmen and Dr. Felix clearly explained all the steps in details and what to expect. I was particularly impressed by how supportive, comforting and understanding the team was. We decided to head to Spain... I still took the opportunity in Benalmadena to shop around again for other dental clinics. To be honest, I wasn't that impressed by 4 / 5 other clinics, but it was still good to inquire and kept an open mind. I went ahead with my appointment to Smart Dental. The clinic is modern and clean. The team was organised, welcoming and very attentive in all my appointments. What was particularly interesting is that Smart Dental was the ONLY clinic offering warranty on the surgery, whereas other clinics that I checked only provided a warranty on the implants. The clinic team was very clear and transparent at the cost structure, the procedure and material used which made me feel at ease. Understanding how "too good to be true offers" was an eye opener to me and my wife. Dr Felix was extremely professional. The process was completed without any delays or complications. I cannot tell you how happy I am. Excellent value for the quality. The only downside I guess what I had difficulty parking and made nervous about being late for my appointments, but on the other hand parking is always challenging. I was only in Palma for a couple of days and needed a big filling replaced and a crown repaired. They made an appointment at a convenient time and carried out all the work in one visit. I'd highly recommend them and will go back for checkups whenever I'm in Majorca.

I had teeth cleaning and had all tartar removed at Dra Varnaez's dental clinic. First, she had an X-ray taken to check if I need anything more than a cleaning. After she confirmed that cleaning was all I needed, she assigned the work to an assistant. The assistant conducted the cleaning work very professionally. The entire work was carried out smoothly with no pain. I chose Dra Narvaezs clinic as hers was the first to reply to my enquiry. Her clinics response within a few hours with the information on the earliest available date and time slot for an appointment. The communication was very quick and highly efficient. Dra. Narvaez and all her staff were very friendly and nice. I will be visiting this clinic periodically for cleaning. I recommend this dental clinic to any one who wants to maintain their teeth in good healthy condition.
